When I read the script [for Twilight], I was just like, 'Oh my God. I knew what was going to happen because I'd read the book, but when I read this script. Wow. I was on pins and needles wondering what was coming next. It's just that good."

Catherine [Hardwicke] was fantastic, but with New Moon, it felt like we had more time to play. The atmospheres were different. They were both great...in their own ways. I just think New Moon is going to be incredible."

So what was filming like in Italy? Well, there were a lot of Rob-sessed fans to make filming difficult! Co-star Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) told MTV: "Italy was intense. We literally all had two bodyguards and drivers, and we couldn't walk and had to be driven around the set. It was because there were thousands of girls that came in from everywhere in the world to see Rob! They would sleep over and stay the night outside our hotel gate. It was nuts." Wow!

Taylor Lautner tells MTV that he did a lot of improv with Jacob for New Moon! He spills: "We did a lot of improv on set. We'd just be in a random forest, after Jacob transforms, he all of a sudden becomes very agile, and I wanted to show that, because pre-transformation, he's clumsy and as soon as he transforms, he's agile. So we'd be in a random forest, and I'd be looking around going, 'What can I do to show Jacob's agility in here?' And sometimes Chris would be like, 'No Taylor, we don't want you getting hurt, spraining an ankle.' I was like, "Well how about I just jump off that and jump through this?' and he's like, 'Alright, give it a shot!" So that's kinda what I was doing."

Since we loved Paramore's "Decode" song on the Twilight soundtrack, we were totally hoping for Paramore to be on the NM soundtrack as well. But, the band says that's unfortunately not the plan this time around. Drummer Zac Farro told Billboard Magazine: "We don't want to be, like, the vampire house band. It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don't want to seem like we're trying to get in every single movie they put out."

What was the most intense New Moon scene that Taylor filmed? He spills to Access Hollywood: "The 'break up' scene -- it's basically when Jacob breaks up with Bella, he realizes he's too much for her to handle. He's doing it for her, he's not doing it for himself, but the thing that made it so intense is I was shirtless, all I had on was shorts, and we were in 35 degree weather! And we were being poured rain on by a rain tower, which is just like so ice cold, it was horrible. And the scene was like 4 minutes long and I'm just sitting there... and you can't look cold! You have to look like, 'we're werewolves, we're hot, so ya know.'" LOL -- aww, poor Taylor! We know his filming in the freezing cold will be worth it!

All this New Moon talk makes us wonder why the book/movie is titled New Moon anyway! Here's why: The Twilight series author, Stephanie Meyer, explains, "The term 'new moon' refers to the phase of the moon opposite a full moon. It is when the sun is on the opposite side of the moon from us and thus the bright side of the moon is not visible from earth. This is the darkest kind of night. New Moon is the darkest period of Bella's life." So cool!

So, has the cast been able to test drive any of them yet?? Ashley Greene (Alice) spills, "I haven't driven the Porsche yet. We weren't sure if they were going to let me it or not. But, they let me drive a Mercedes in a scene that we did last week." So awesome!
