Oscar-nominated actress Anne Hathaway may be better known for her serious roles, but she'll be showing off her funny bone on the small screen! Life & Style has learned that the starlet recently visited Fox Studios in LA to tape a surprise cameo for an upcoming episode of Family Guy.

"Anne is a longtime fan of the show. She hadn't considered guest-starring until series creator Seth MacFarlane approached her," an insider tells Life & Style. "He pitched Anne an episode idea that completely cracked her up. She didn't even have to think it over -- she wanted in!" This isn't the first time Anne's lent her voice to the cartoon world; she taped an episode of The Simpsons earlier this year.

Kate's golden night!

Her first time to the podium, as winner of the Best Supporting Actress award at last night's Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, Kate Winslet was at a loss for words. "You have to forgive me," Kate, who won for her role as a former concentration camp guard in The Reader, told the audience at the Beverly Hills Hilton, "because I have a habit of not winning things."

Later in the evening, it was Kate's turn again, and this time it was an even bigger award, Best Actress for Revolutionary Road. This time, she was even more flustered.

"I'm so sorry! Anne, Meryl, Kristin — oh, God, who's the other one? — Angelina," she said, referring to fellow nominees Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Kristin Scott Thomas and Angelina Jolie.

Kate wasn't the only big winner of the night. Slumdog Millionaire won awards for Best Drama, Best Director (Danny Boyle), Best Screenplay and Best Original Score.

Mickey Rourke took the Best Actor award for The Wrestler, and the late Heath Ledger took Best Supporting Actor for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

It was a dead heat between the stars of 2006's The Devil Wears Prada as Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married) and Meryl Streep (Doubt) tied for Best Actress honors at the 14th-annual Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., last night.

Heath Ledger posthumously won the Best Supporting Actor award for The Dark Knight. Sean Penn took the Best Actor trophy for his performance in Milk, and Kate Winslet won Best Supporting Actress for her role as a former Nazi concentration-camp guard in The Reader.

But the biggest winner was Slumdog Millionaire, which won awards for Best Director, Best Picture, Best Writer and Best Composer. Its star, Dev Patel, also was voted Best Young Actor.

There's no doubt Anne Hathaway is a talented actress, but even she's had a hard time concealing her excitement about the new man in her life. "I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day," she divulged at the Oct. 20 London premiere of her new movie, Rachel Getting Married. "You know when you don't know someone very well...you just meet them and you're like, 'Wow, you really have it going on'?" As it turns out, the object of Anne's affection thinks the actress has it going on, too. Now Life & Style can exclusively reveal his identity: 27-year-old actor Adam Shulman.

Life & Style recently spotted the happy new couple in New Orleans, where Adam accompanied Anne, 26, to an Oct. 29 screening of her movie at the Canal Place Cinema, then to dessert with pals at local hot spot Patois. At the screening, Adam, unassuming in jeans and Converse sneakers, told Life & Style how he and Anne first met: "We met through mutual friends. I came to support Anne. We've never been to New Orleans before -- it's our first time."

At Patois, where the couple sipped white wine and Anne picked off Adam's plate, the star said things with Adam weren't perfect at first. "He was actually seeing someone else," she told the table while resting her hand on Adam's leg, says a witness. "I thought I was going to have to step back."

"Adam's everything Raffaello wasn't," an insider close to the actress tells Life & Style, referring to ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. "He's sensitive and kind to a fault. I think Anne may have found a kindred spirit."
