Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have pulled out of a scheduled appearance at an official New Jersey Twilight convention this weekend, Life & Style has learned, which is sure to disappoint the Twi-hard fans.

The Twilight stars were scheduled to appear during the three-day convention for fans of the series, but they were abruptly removed from the lineup on the convention's Web site yesterday. The event, which costs upward of $300 for premium tickets, is already sold out.

"Ashley and Kellan had to pull out of appearing at the convention due to a change in their schedules," a publicist for the event told Life & Style.

Creation Entertainment, who is sponsoring the event, is refunding the special tickets that gave fans a chance to take pictures or get autographs from Ashley and Kellan, which fans purchased separately from the general tickets.

Ashley Greene and Adrian Grenier have discovered something more than a shared interest in surfing: each other.

Life & Style has learned that after meeting at Oakley's "Learn to Ride" surf event on Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif., the Twilight actress and the Entourage hunk met again for a surfing date yesterday in the O.C., closer to LA.

An insider tells Life & Style: "They really hit it off and loved learning to surf at the Oakley event, so they thought they'd combine their new passions by getting to know each other better while going surfing."

Just days before accepting the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart perfected their smooching skills during a 10-hour shoot for Twilight's sequel, New Moon, on May 27 in Montepulciano, Italy. From 6 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Rob readily puckered up to his gorgeous co-star, capturing the emotional reunion scene between their characters, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. "They were happy and laughing throughout filming," spills a set extra. "It was like they were the only two actors on set."

All eyes have been on cast members from the moment they descended on the quaint Italian town in late May. Pictures of Rob were placed in windows of village restaurants, bookstores replaced Tuscany guide displays with the Twilight series and the Montepulciano Tourism Center piled New Moon posters and fliers on its front desk. Despite all the attention, Rob's managed to share a few stolen moments with Kristen, who's maintained a flirty relationship with Robert while supposedly dating actor Michael Angarano. "I saw them surfing the Internet together," a hotel bartender at the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace in nearby Chianciano said. "They were looking and laughing at something."

The rest of the British heartthrob's time was spent filming -- and refining his six-pack abs. An insider reveals that producers told Rob to work out every day for the movie but believes the request was just a ploy to keep him from drinking the night before big scenes. "It was their way of keeping him in line," says the insider.

The charming rolling hills of Italy offered a marked contrast to the content of the New Moon shoot. "These are the most frightening and nerve-racking scenes," Ashley Greene, who stars as Alice Cullen, tells Life & Style. "It's when [the powerful Volturi vampires] are debating whether to kill Edward and Bella." But thankfully the Italian jaunt wasn't all dreary business. "I had a day off and went to Siena," Ashley, 22, told Life & Style at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31 in LA. "I took a ton of pictures and went to all the cathedrals. That was really fun. "Italy was everything it's cracked up to be," she continued. "We were in Tuscany, and it was beautiful. It was amazing. You step back and you're going, 'This is what I'm getting paid to do?' We didn't want to leave."

When the cameras are away, the New Moon stars will play! The cast came out to support fellow castmate Jackson Rathbone and his band, 100 Monkeys, when they played at the Vancouver, British Columbia, club Backstage Lounge on April 14. Although they were bombarded by Twilight fans, the group seemed to enjoy its time away from the set.

"Kellan Lutz, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene were all there to cheer Jackson on," an eyewitness tells Life & Style.

And they did more than cheer: It seemed like everyone was happy to have a break from shooting -- and some of them let their guard down. Explains the eyewitness, "Taylor was preoccupied with a tall brunette. They were really into each other, dancing very close. She grabbed his crotch numerous times!"

Meanwhile, Nikki Reed was doing some flirting of her own. Says the witness, "Nikki was definitely into one of Jackson's bandmates. While they were performing, she reached onstage and grazed his crotch with her hand. He quickly jumped back with a startled look on his face."

And Ashley Greene seems to have found love! "Ashley was there with actor Ian Somerhalder, who appears to be her new boyfriend," the witness says. "The two seemed really happy and kissed throughout the show!"

Ryan Eggold, who was recently linked to Twilight's Ashley Greene, has a new squeeze: singer-actress Haley Bennett, 21. "It's very hush-hush, of course, but Ryan and Haley are a couple," an insider reveals to Life & Style.

And while Ryan, 24, stayed mum about his love life at the opening of Todd Schorr's art show in LA on March 28, the actor did dish a bit about his ideal woman. "I have never been attracted to the skeleton thing, and obviously in Hollywood there is an issue with that," he tells Life & Style. "For me personally, it's not attractive. Being healthy is attractive." Take note, Haley!

The cast members of Twilight have promptly reheated their on-screen passion on the set of the movie's sequel, New Moon. "We went through a lot together, so we feel very close," says Kristen Stewart about her co-star Robert Pattinson. But it also seems like more than mere friendship as Kristen blushed uncontrollably when asked about kissing Robert at a recent news conference. "We all get along so fantastically, and we all have such great chemistry," co-star Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, told Life & Style.

But with Robert taking a smaller role in the sequel, new leading man Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) threatens to divide this cozy twosome. "Jacob and Bella are best friends, and I know Taylor takes it very seriously in terms of forming that connection with Kristen and making sure that it's authentic," Rachelle Lefevre, who plays villainous vampire Victoria, tells Life & Style. "I don't think he's competing with Rob; I just know that he's going to be sure that his relationship with Kristen is just as intense and has just as much chemistry."

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has lots of adoring fans, but finding that one real-life leading lady is proving to be more elusive for him. "No one seems to get into a relationship with me," admits Robert, whose character, vampire Edward Cullen, is often described as the ideal man. "I'm a loner."

Indeed, "he's really quiet," Rob's Twilight castmate Sarah Clarke, who plays Renee Dwyer, confirmed to Life & Style at the Diamond Information Center and InStyle's pre-Golden Globes luncheon in LA on Jan. 8.

But another co-star, Ashley Greene (who plays Edward's sister, Alice), claims it just takes a while for Rob to warm up to others. "Once you get to know him, he's really outgoing and fun," Ashley tells Life & Style. "He's a sweet guy, but he's different."
