Brooke Hogan: 'I'm not a size 2 and I never will be!'

Brooke1006.jpgBrooke Hogan, star of Brooke Knows Best, is no stranger to drama. While she's clearly open to airing her dirty laundry, Brooke wishes cameras hadn't been there to capture her vacation in Miami over New Year's. During the getaway, the bikini-clad singer was caught in a series of unflattering poses. "They took the photos from a bad angle, and I was hunched over," Brooke, 21, tells Life & Style. But the 5-foot-11 reality star and singer is proud of her body -- and says that heavy-handed photoshopping is to blame for unrealistic expectations. "Whoever invented Photoshop was a genius, but it sets a bad example for what 'healthy' is," says Brooke.

That's why she came to Life & Style to do a bikini shoot on Jan. 12 -- with the agreement that the photos wouldn't be retouched or altered in any way. So instead of relying on airbrushing, she's proudly embracing her natural curves. "I'm not a size 2 and probably never will be," she says. "That's something I had to get out of my head a long time ago."

Although she may never be a size 2, Brooke has recently managed to lose 15 pounds. And one person who thinks Brooke looks better than ever is her proud papa, Hulk Hogan. "Brooke is absolutely gorgeous and doesn't need Photoshop," Hulk tells Life & Style. "She's been working her butt off." Most important, she's finally just plain happy with her figure. "I feel really confident and comfortable in my body," she says. "I feel feminine. I even like myself naked in the mirror! There's always room for improvement, but I really do love my body."

Rep confirms: Brooke Hogan is single!

Brooke.jpgIt seems that things have cooled off in Miami Beach for one music couple. Brooke Hogan exclusively confirms to Life & Style that it's completely over between her and aspiring rapper Yannique Barker, a.k.a. Stack$.

Brooke's rep, Janice Lee, confirms to Life & Style, "Brooke Hogan and Stack$ have split but remain friends. He was a big part of her life for a very long time, and she still cares about him and his family dearly. Brooke would like to thank her fans for their kind words and sensitivity during the breakup."

The two were first spotted as a couple last April in Miami Beach, where Stack$ was helping Brooke shoot her music video for her song "Falling," in which he was featured. Stack$ was also seen on Brooke's reality show Brooke Knows Best.

Life & Style exclusive: Hulk Hogan: How can a mother say that about her daughter?

Hogans924.jpg

Hulk Hogan is jumping to the defense of his daughter, Brooke, 21, after her mother, Linda, accused her of everything from lying about having a breast augmentation to hanging out with a guy who smokes marijuana with her father. "I can't believe Linda would do this," the former wrestling champ tells Life & Style exclusively. "She's lost and needs help."

Hulk vehemently denies Linda's claim that he was "rolling and smoking joints" with Brooke's boyfriend, Stack, during one of Brooke's recording sessions. "Absolutely not!" he shoots back. "Brooke is a clean-cut girl. She's very open and honest." In fact, Hulk suggests that Linda, who filed for divorce in 2007 after 24 years of marriage, is the one using drugs. Linda has said she'd happily submit to a drug test to prove otherwise. Hulk's response? "If Linda says she'll take a drug test, I say bring it, brother! It needs to be done, and she'll fail it."

In the meantime, he just wants Linda to stop attacking their little girl. "Brooke can't have a relationship with her mother like this," he tells Life & Style. "I hope one day Linda will grow up and be an adult like Brooke is. Linda has to reach to her level. One day, maybe."

Hulk Hogan vs. Linda's boy toy: IT'S WAR!

Linda&Charlie849.jpg

Linda Hogan's 19-year-old plaything, Charlie Hill, who went to school with Brooke Hogan, Linda's daughter, has filed an order of protection against Linda's ex, the Hulk, for reasons that no one but Charlie is taking seriously.

"Charlie thinks in his head that Hulk will hurt him. It's a restraining order that was denied, of course," an insider tells Life & Style.

"This is laughable. Hulk is one of the gentlest giants on the planet. He
would never hurt anyone...outside of the ring!"

Will Nick's freedom bring the family together?

In the past year, the Hogans -- wrestler Hulk, his ex-wife, Linda, daughter Brooke and son Nick -- have had their lives turned upside down by tragedy.
On Aug. 26, 2007, Nick, 18, was involved in an automobile accident that left his best friend, John Graziano, in a coma -- and led to an eight-month jail sentence for reckless driving. Soon after the accident, Hulk and Linda split up, and singer Brooke, 20, was left to cope on her own.
Now with Nick getting out of Florida's Pinellas County Jail on Oct. 21, his sister opens up about her hopes for the family. See photos of Nick's release and read more about the Hogan family drama in the latest issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now!

Brooke Hogan opens up to Life & Style

As Nick Hogan prepared for his early release from Florida's Pinellas County Jail, Brooke Hogan was doing everything she could to put her family's tough year behind her. Anticipating the big moment, Brooke opened up to Life & Style about his plans -- and the healing that has yet to begin. "Life is better now that I'm going to have my best friend back," Brooke told Life & Style two days before she greeted Nick with a huge hug outside the jail at 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 21. "He's got so much energy now. He was so excited about getting out, he was literally jumping up and down while I was talking to him."

After being locked up for more than five months, Nick had some very specific post-prison plans -- which included eating his favorite foods. "There's a place called Los Mariachis in Tampa," Brooke says. "He wants a chicken queso from there. But that's not all. He wants sushi -- a lot of it. So I'm going to get him a bunch of sushi hand rolls -- and a cake that says something like 'Welcome home' on it."

Nick also wants to catch up on the movies he's missed, says Brooke. "He knows Forgetting Sarah Marshall came out on DVD -- that's one of his favorites," she notes. And he wants to go visit family in LA, says a family insider, though that may not happen right away. "He just wants a shower and a good meal right now," the insider says.

But before any celebratory dinners, DVD screenings and family reunions, Nick has one important stop he urgently wants to make -- at the VA Hospital in Tampa, Fla., where John, a former Marine, remains in a semiconscious state. "Nick wants to see John," Brooke tells Life & Style. "He's been lobbying hard for that." Due to the Grazianos' pending civil lawsuit against the Hogans, however, the visit may not be possible.
