Heidi Montag goes too far

1006cover.jpgAfter Heidi Montag went under the knife in 2007 to enlarge her breasts and streamline her nose, she thought she would be done perfecting her body. "No more surgery for me," the reality star claimed. But all that changed when Heidi went back to her plastic surgeon's office for a more than $50,000 full-body overhaul on Nov. 20, 2009.

Fast-forward to Jan. 22. Heidi and hubby Spencer Pratt sat holed up in their Pacific Palisades, Calif., home, in shock over the hate mail the 23-yearold had been getting about her extreme makeover. "Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she'd received a letter or an e-mail saying that her plastic surgery was against God's will," a neighbor of the couple tells Life & Style. "Heidi's apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings."

While strangers' opinions shouldn't matter, even friends think Heidi's decision to undergo 10 procedures in a single day went overboard -- to a dangerous degree. "She looks like Cat Lady," a pal of Heidi's tells Life & Style. "It's all a little too much." Spencer was also horrified by Heidi's appearance, according to his friend. "He loved how Heidi looked before this surgery," a friend of Spencer's tells Life & Style. "Because she's still swollen and the surgery hasn't settled yet, he's a bit shocked."

Still, Heidi doesn't think she has a problem. "Every starlet is getting surgery every other day to keep up her looks," says Heidi. And supermodel Janice Dickinson thinks Heidi shouldn't make any apologies for her surgeries. "She looks fantastic," Janice tells Life & Style. "And she loves the fact that she's being compared to Pam Anderson, which, in my mind, she very well could be." Janice's only gripe? She thinks Heidi is destroying Dr. Ryan's reputation by saying she almost died. "Any time anyone comes out of anesthesia, you're going to be weirded out," says Janice. "Personally, I live for it."

Heidi Montag's dad on plastic surgery: That's news to me!

Heidi1004.jpgReality star Heidi Montag made headlines today when she unveiled her new post-surgery body. Her head-to-toe work included breast and buttocks augmentations, liposuction, lip injections, Botox and more, but it looks like Heidi forgot to share the news with one person: her dad!

"I talked to her yesterday, but she didn't mention anything about this," Bill Montag tells Life & Style.

The starlet underwent a total of 10 plastic surgery procedures in just one day! "Maybe it's a surprise to me," Bill says. "I have no idea until I talk to her. We talk about everything, that's for sure. She is my little girl. I will talk to her about it and find out what's going on. You piqued my curiosity!"

This isn't the first time Heidi has kept her dad in the dark about her personal life. She forgot to mention she was eloping to Mexico with now-husband Spencer Pratt in November 2008.

Heidi's Playboy diet: how I got a great butt

Heidi934.jpgHeidi Montag lives her life on camera as the star of the hit reality show The Hills. But she's getting a whole new level of exposure in the September issue of Playboy, which hits newsstands on Aug. 14. Life & Style joined the 22-year-old during her beach workout in Malibu on Aug. 3 to get all the bootylicious details. "I'm not wearing anything in the Playboy pictures," Heidi tells Life & Style. "My skin is my accessory."

L&S: Why pose for Playboy?
HEIDI: I'd been thinking about it for a while. Playboy's such an iconic magazine. Plus, I'm getting older, and I'm married [to The Hills co-star Spencer Pratt], so I'm tapped into a whole different sexuality. I thought it would be fun to express that in my first racy photo shoot.

L&S: How did your workout change before the shoot?
HEIDI: I used to go on the treadmill and have a more casual workout. Now I have a routine, and I work out five days a week for an hour every day. It's more of an athlete's training.

L&S: What's your favorite move?
HEIDI: The dead lift. I lift 100 pounds, and that's pretty much my weight. It's very empowering. I feel more comfortable and confident alone. I don't need my husband to carry my luggage downstairs -- I can do it. I feel pretty buff.

L&S: Did you lose weight in addition to adding curves?
HEIDI: If anything, I gained a little because I got more muscle. I toned up, I firmed up, and this booty probably weighs 5 extra pounds.

L&S: So Spencer likes you curvaceous?
HEIDI: He loves my new additions. I just want to be the foxiest wife.

Spencer finally marries Heidi!

Spedi919.jpg

The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt had only two words to say to all the haters who've accused them of faking their romance for the cameras over the past three years: "I do." Five months after eloping to Mexico (for what turned out to be a nonbinding ceremony), the couple were finally married -- officially -- shortly after 5 p.m. on April 25 by the Rev. Twining F. Campbell at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, Calif.

Before Heidi -- glowing in a Monique Lhuillier gown and wearing $1.2 million in Neil Lane diamonds -- walked down the aisle in front of about 200 friends and family members, Spencer, 25, told Life & Style the reason the couple decided to repeat their vows. It was, he revealed, so that Heidi, 23, could marry in front of her family -- including her mother, Darlene, her father, Bill, and her sister, Holly, who served as maid of honor. "I'm thrilled to finally be able to give Heidi the wedding she's always dreamed of," Spencer told Life & Style. And while Heidi's mom and Spencer haven't always seen eye to eye, Holly told Life & Style that, before the wedding, Darlene "had a heart-to-heart with Spencer and realized she needs to trust that Heidi knows what will make her happy."

Meanwhile, just five days before the wedding, Spencer's nemesis, Lauren Conrad, told Life & Style that while she'd been invited, she probably wouldn't attend. Apparently, she had a change of heart. Right before the ceremony began, Lauren entered the church through a side door and took a seat with fellow Hills cast members, including Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth, Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado.

After the exchange of vows, Heidi changed into a sexy white dress and Gucci heels and joined her hubby and guests at Social Hollywood for a lavish reception.

Heidi and Spencer are finally man and wife!

Heidi&Spencer918.jpg

Life & Style can confirm that at exactly 5:29 PM on April 25, Spencer Pratt finally married Heidi Montag in a romantic ceremony in front of 400 people at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, Calif.

Spencer gave Heidi her big day after eloping to Mexico in an unofficial ceremony last November. "I'm so happy to give Heidi the wedding she's always dreamed of," the groom told Life & Style at the church.

The stars of The Hills exchanged traditional vows in front of their friends and family. Heidi wore a full-length, petal-tiered, and rhinestone-bedecked Monique Lhuillier wedding gown complete with bejeweled veil. A surprise guest in the congregation was Heidi's ex-best friend Lauren Conrad who had previously told Life & Style she wouldn't attend the wedding.

The wedding was, of course, filmed by MTV for the reality show, with seven cameras in the church, and the whole wedding party wore microphones as they walked down the aisle.

Other stars of the show who came to witness the big day included Brody Jenner, Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth, and Frankie Delgado. Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavallari was also in attendance, along with blogger Perez Hilton.

Heidi's sister Holly Montag and Spencer's sister Stephanie Pratt were bridesmaids along with Spencer's niece and wore yellow BCBG dresses.

Stephanie told Life & Style,"I love Spencer so much, and Heidi is the girl of his dreams. I couldn't be happier for them. They are truly blessed. I didn't believe in true love and marriage in people so young, but they are making me see that it does exist."

The couple will join their friends and family for two receptions. The first will be at Social Hollywood, which will be followed by another, more intimate gathering at CUT in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Heidi and Spencer's dramatic rehearsal dinner!

Heidi&Spencer918.jpgIt looks like the drama started even before this couple tied the knot! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who were celebrating their upcoming nuptials at the swanky Beverly Hills spot Cut last night, had to deal with some last minute wedding trouble, an insider tells Life & Style.

""Heidi's sister Holly got into a huge fight with Spencer. She was crying in the bathroom and moaning about how he was disrespecting her," the insider tells Life & Style. "The next thing you know, she and Spencer are going at it in the front lobby of the restaurant. He was calling her immature and rude and she was crying. It was pretty bad." Of course, the insider adds, the cameras were rolling, "but Holly still seemed genuinely upset."

The drama seemed to stress out Heidi, who stuck to water during the dinner. The meal lasted more than three hours and included over two dozen guests. But however stressed Heidi might have been,"She still looked gorgeous and was wearing a super tight, sexy, black dress!"

The night was capped off with Heidi and Spencer sharing a slow dance in the lobby of the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

We can only hope that the Speidi wedding is less dramatic than the rehearsal dinner!

Spencer slams Lady Gaga's version of Heidi's song!

Speidi&LadyGaga909.jpg

Any good fashionista knows it's a faux pas to wear the same dress as another girl at the same time, but what about covering the same song? Heidi Montag of The Hills and "Just Dance" singer Lady Gaga both have versions of the song "Fashion" making the rounds. "Heidi's a far more talented artist, and her version of 'Fashion' kills Lady Gaga's," Heidi's beau, Spencer Pratt, told Life & Style at Pure Nightclub's Valentine's Day party in Las Vegas. "Personally, I think Lady Gaga is repulsive and classless."

Gaga's track can be found on the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack, while Heidi's rendition has been on the Internet since last summer, although it didn't make her upcoming album. When Heidi's version of the song was released to blogger Perez Hilton, "he said the lyrics and songwriting were awful," Spencer says. "We think highly of Perez's critique -- and ultimately decided not to include the track on the album."

EXCLUSIVE: Kim Kardashian: How I made my sitcom debut

kim.jpg

Kim Kardashian shot a cameo yesterday in LA for How I Met Your Mother. Also in the episode (but not in Kim's scene): The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

"This was my first sitcom, and I loved the experience!" Kim tells Life & Style. "Everyone on the set was so sweet and fun to work with!"

Adds Kim about her role: "I played myself! I'm on the cover of a weekly magazine the character Marshall (Jason Segel) is reading, and I come to life and start talking to him and giving him advice! It's super cute!"

Heidi's dad: 'Spencer will be the perfect son-in-law'

Heidi.jpg

Turns out Spencer Pratt is more old-fashioned than he lets on. Before he asks for his Hills co-star and girlfriend Heidi Montag's hand in marriage, he wants to get permission from Heidi's father. And by all accounts, he has it! "Spencer is a great, great kid," Bill Montag, a rancher who currently lives in Steamboat Springs, Colo., tells Life & Style. "Every father wants his daughter to be with someone like Spencer, believe me.."

Bill, who's divorced from Heidi's mom, Darlene, first met Spencer during a heartbreaking time -- at the March 2008 funeral of Heidi's stepbrother Eric, who was killed in a household accident after returning from military service in Iraq. But even amid tragedy, it was clear to Bill how happy Spencer makes his daughter -- and how much he enjoys doting on her. "He's such a gentleman, opening doors for her and pulling out her chair," Bill notes. "It meant a lot to me to see that -- it showed me that he's always thinking about her."
