Jolie-Pitt New York City cocoa fest

brand&angie1001.jpgOn Dec. 20, the day after the first big snowfall of the year, the Jolie-Pitts found warmth in six hot chocolates at Café Metro in NYC, just one block from their hotel, the Waldorf Astoria.

The Jolie-Pitts are in town for reshoots of Angie's upcoming movie Salt. "Brad and Angie took their kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh to Café Metro," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "Brad ordered all six of them hot chocolate and paid with his credit card, leaving a $5 tip for the cashier. Pax was at the counter ordering with Dad as Angelina looked on lovingly from the table with the rest of the kids. They stayed for about 15 to 20 minutes."

The family, minus the twins Vivienne and Knox, were all bundled up and seemed to be enjoying one another's company very much. Shiloh's hip winter gear featured earmuffs and a black hat with a red skull and crossbones splashed across the front.

"Brad was being such a good dad and so loving and caring toward the children. They were just like a big happy family," the eyewitness adds.

Angelina: I want even more babies!

943cover.jpgDuring her recent United Nations trip to Syria to meet with refugee families, Angelina Jolie let a secret slip about how overwhelming her own kids can be. Faced with a mother embarrassed that her five children were out of control, U.N. rep Dalia Al-Achi tells Life & Style, "Angelina told the mom that her children are even naughtier!"
Raising six kids under the age of 9 is a difficult task, and Angie herself admits that life is
"absolute chaos at times." Which makes her statements in a new interview all the more shocking: For the first time, she's confirmed that she and Brad Pitt, 45, plan to adopt again -- and have another biological child.

"I can see further additions to the family -- both adopted and our own," Angelina, 34, tells the British magazine Stylist in its October issue.
Brad and Angie plan to add two more children, if not more, to their family, confirms an insider close to the couple. "They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby -- for now," the insider says. "But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children."

Why the need to adopt again? Angelina's work as a Goodwill Ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees exposes her to children mired in poverty and war worldwide, and she's motivated by a noble impulse to help. In Syria, the U.N.'s Al-Achi tells Life & Style, "Angelina and Brad both took time to play around with the children they visited." But their desperate desire to save needy kids comes at the expense of the six they already have.

"Rescuing children out of third world countries is wonderful, but it's very stressful each time another person who has his or her own needs and demands and who's also competing for attention and love is brought into a family," says psycho therapist Jenn Berman, author of The A to Z Guide to Raising Happy, Confident Kids.

And Angelina clearly realizes that she's being stretched too thin. "We have to make sure we can devote enough time to each of them," she tells Stylist, referring to Maddox, 8, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. "There's always one of ours demanding that I help color in something very important with crayons."

Brad and Angelina take the twins to the Middle East

942BRANGIE.jpg Since their twins were born on July 12, 2008, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have carefully kept them hidden away. After a brief appearance at a Tokyo airport in January, Knox and Vivienne practically disappeared from sight.
Until now. For only the second time ever, Brad and Angelina let the twins, now 15 months old, be photographed out in public. But rather than taking them to a quaint shop near their home in Brignoles, France, they made the surprising decision to take them on a trip to the Middle East, where Angie was meeting with Iraqi refugees as part of her work with the United Nations.
On Oct. 2, the foursome stopped into Licky Licious ice cream shop in Amman, Jordan. "Brad tried almost all the flavors," co-owner Ihab Fakhouri tells Life & Style. "Angelina tried a couple and chose mango. Brad chose pecan with vanilla and caramel. They gave some to the twins as well! They were really well-behaved, happy babies."
