Ever since her big sister Kourtney announced she was pregnant in August, rumors have been swirling that Kim Kardashian wants a baby too. Laughing off the false gossip, Kim finally set the record straight while speaking to Life & Style at her 29th birthday party, held at Las Vegas hot spot Tao on Oct. 16. Her response to all the baby buzz? Yes, she definitely wants to have one -- but, no, it's not happening tomorrow!

But if all goes according to plan, Kim will be pregnant by next October. "Family is the most important thing in my life," Kim tells Life & Style. "I always had a vision I'd be married with one kid by the time I'm 30." Not that Kim's likely to be waiting for a ring much longer. After dating for more than two years, Kim and boyfriend Reggie Bush, split in July but are now back together and working on their issues. "Before, I was strictly all about my work," Kim admits. "Now I make it a priority to go see him instead. It's all about the commitment you choose to make."

And with renewed faith in their relationship, Kim and Reggie are making moves toward their future. "Kim is selling her condo so she and Reggie can buy a home together in Los Angeles," her friend says. And the prospect of having a big house has Kim thinking about how she and Reggie will fill it. "I want a lot of kids," Kim tells Life & Style. "Maybe five or six. A mix of both boys and girls."

Kim Kardashian is back together with her long-term boyfriend, NFL running back Reggie Bush, and her stepbrother Brody Jenner couldn't be happier about the news.

"I love it. I was just with [Reggie] the other night," Brody tells Life & Style.

"I personally think Reggie is one of the nicest human beings I've ever met in my life. I think he would be an incredible partner for Kim," he said, adding that she'd be great for him too.

The couple reportedly reunited immediately after the wedding of Kim's sister Khloé to Lamar Odom last month.

More than two years after her first date with football star Reggie Bush, Kim Kardashian was hoping a diamond ring would be in her future. Instead, she's left with only heartache. On July 27, Kim's rep confirmed to Life & Style that the couple had broken up. The split caught friends and family by surprise. And no wonder: In April, a glowing Kim, 28, couldn't stop gushing about Reggie, 24, during her Life & Style cover photo shoot. "I have no doubt we'll get married," she told Life & Style. "We're both young, so it won't be for a while, but I want to be a mom before I'm 30."

While the split seemed sudden, the relationship had its problems. The biggest issue? The distance. Reggie's team, the Saints, is based in New Orleans, and Reggie travels to play all around the country. Meanwhile, Kim lives in LA but often travels the globe for work. "It really wasn't sudden," says a friend of Reggie's. "For the past few months, it's been clear that although Reggie and Kim love each other, the distance had put a wedge in their relationship." And the decision to split wasn't an easy one. "The decision was mutual," another friend of Reggie's says. "They talked and talked about it, and they decided this was the only answer. It was tough, but they decided this was the only way to go."

Kim's hoping their time apart serves as a break, not a break-up. "Kim believes they can work it out," a friend of Kim's tells Life & Style. "She knows she's been selfish and hasn't put enough time into the relationship because she's so focused on her career. She feels terrible about it -- but she hopes more than anything this time will be spent working on the issues that came between them."
