Robert Pattinson starts filming his latest movie, Bel Ami, in February -- and gets steamy with a bevy of beautiful co stars, including Christina Ricci. Life & Style has obtained the screenplay for this adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel, in which Rob stars as journalist Georges Duroy, who climbs the social ladder by sleeping with a series of prominent women. One of his sex romps with Christina finds both their characters surprised by the intensity of the racy encounter. Tender, aching moments pass before Georges asks Christina's Clotilde, "Now?" And he doesn't stop there. Georges is quick and efficient with Madeleine (played by Uma Thurman) while sitting at a desk, rough and ravenous with Virginie (Kristin Scott Thomas) on the floor and eager up against a door with a prostitute named Rachel!

The Twilight cast's lips have been sealed regarding a romance between stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart since sparks first flew in late 2008. But when the gang returns to film the fourth movie in the franchise, Breaking Dawn, no one will have to keep the hush-hush relationship under wraps anymore. "Rob and Kristen are very happy, and everyone that's part of the franchise is so happy for them," says an insider. "They don't feel the need to hide it anymore."

Indeed, while vacationing together on the Isle of Wight off the coast of England recently, the duo's chemistry was on full display. "They were outside Somerfield grocery store with what looked like Robert's friends," fan and lucky eyewitness Hollie Carpenter tells Life & Style. "They were all just talking and laughing and seemed to be having a good time. Although they were with a group of friends, Rob and Kristen walked off together."

The cozy co-stars have also successfully navigated spending the holidays as a couple. They reportedly spent time at Rob's parents' home in London, where, according to another insider, Rob confirmed it's serious with Kristen. "The pressure is off," says the insider. "Everyone knows now that the movies will do fine regardless of a relationship between the two of them going strong. They're totally relieved that they can just be together."

Arriving at NYC lounge Avenue at 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 20, New Moon co-stars Robert Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, made an adorable couple. "They were escorted to a corner table on the mezzanine," says a club insider. "They were chatting and laughing until 3 a.m. They came and left together -- just them. It seemed like a date for sure."

But under the spotlight, the Twilight couple still won't admit they're together, despite holding hands in Paris on Nov. 10. They didn't let themselves be photographed together at the New Moon world premiere in LA on Nov. 16. And at a Nov. 19 screening in NYC hosted by D&G and the Cinema Society, "Kristen and Rob both seemed in good spirits -- but they didn't walk together," says an eyewitness.

And when it comes to interviews and talk-show appearances, they've come up with increasingly clever ways not to answer the question everyone's asking: Aren't you guys dating?

Like his New Moon character, Sam Uley, Chaske (pronounced Chess-kay) Spencer proved to be leader of the pack on set in Vancouver, British Columbia. "I was the older brother or father figure," he told Life & Style during an exclusive photo shoot with costar Charlie Bewley on Nov. 4 in LA. "I'm very protective of Taylor Lautner, Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon. We can get on each other's nerves, but it's just like a family." British export Charlie Bewley, who plays Volturi vampire Demetri, crossed the pond to make his big-screen debut in New Moon -- and life will never be the same! "I haven't really absorbed the whole thing," he admitted during Life & Style's exclusive New Moon shoot. "But I'm working out a rapid autograph style now. It's coming along nicely."

L&S: You and Taylor both gained 30 pounds of muscle. Did you hold weight-lifting contests?

Chaske Spencer: We were all really competitive and supportive of one another. One time, I had the highest score on this rowing machine, and the next day I came in and Rob [Pattinson] had beaten me -- he worked out at night, and the wolves came in during the day. I beat him again, but on the last day of shooting, I came in and he'd beaten me by a second.

L&S: Do people ever ask you to take off your shirt?

Chaske Spencer: All the time! Just seeing myself shirtless on the posters makes me very self-conscious. When the Twilight saga's over, I'm not going to the gym for a while.

L&S: This is your first movie. What was it like working with veteran Dakota Fanning?

Charlie Bewley: She's wonderful. The most impressive thing is the way she works the camera with her eyes. Dakota has a wonderful stillness for a 15-yearold actress. It's something most people don't master in a lifetime.

L&S: Do girls swoon over your accent, or are they unable to understand you?

Charlie Bewley: It's a bit of both. I've never been asked out by an American woman, though. The one physical commonality my girlfriends have had is that they have disproportionately large heads. It's kind of weird.

W hat a difference a year makes! Last November, Robert Pattinson amassed a bloodthirsty legion of fans as the big-screen incarnation of author Stephenie Meyers' perfect man, vampire Edward Cullen, in Twilight.

While Rob, 23, helped Twilight gross nearly $400 million worldwide, he's now taking a backseat to -- and going six-pack to six-pack with -- 17-year-old Taylor Lautner in the movie's sequel New Moon, which roars into theaters on Nov. 20.

"I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor is," Rob says. "I just have significant moments at the beginning and the end. I'm more of a supporting role." Indeed, Taylor's character, werewolf Jacob Black, romances Bella Swan (played by Robert's real-life girlfriend, Kristen Stewart) when Edward skips town.

Twilight snagged four honors at Spike's Scream 2009 Awards on Oct. 17, but star Robert Pattinson and company are already in full-on New Moon mode. With fewer than 30 days until the sequel's release on Nov. 20, bloodthirsty fans are working themselves into a frenzy -- and the cast is ready to bite back.

"The next month is going to be pretty intense," Chaske Spencer, who plays werewolf Sam Uley, tells Life & Style. "Bring it on!"

Eclipse filming wraps

Before New Moon fever can completely heat up, the cast still has to wrap production on Eclipse, the third movie in the Twilight saga. While cast members like Chaske and Billy Burke, who plays Charlie Swan, have already finished filming their roles, others are still at work in Vancouver, British Columbia. In fact, after just a one-night stay, Kristen Stewart flew from LA back to Vancouver on Oct. 18 so that pro­duction could proceed seamlessly. "Coming down the home stretch," Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, wrote on Twitter the same day. "One more week to go."

That's nice for Peter, but the production's official end date isn't until Oct. 31! "I'm heading back to Vancouver this week," Justin Chon, who plays human Eric Yorkie, told Life & Style on Oct. 19. "I have one or two scenes and then I'm done."

But for the stars of Twilight, the Aug. 15 show looked less like a night out with friends and more like a romantic date."At first, they appeared bashful with each other," says an onlooker who spotted the duo sitting in the VIP box at the GM Place stadium. "But then they seemed to loosen up. We could see Kristen laughing at his jokes, and in no time they were leaning into each other with their faces just inches apart."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart helped Twilight win best movie romance and best kiss at the 2009 Teen Choice awards on Aug. 9. But things are even steamier between the two leads offscreen. After spending two difficult months apart while they worked on different projects 3,000 miles away from each other, on Aug. 5 the co-stars reunited for five blissful days in LA -- and their romance was instantly back on. "From the way they act, it's clear that Rob and Kristen are together -- and in love," says an insider who witnessed the meet-up. "It seems that they can't stay away from each other."

Robert and Kristen's five-day PDA fest shocked more than just their die-hard fans. "I saw the pictures -- getting in cabs together, going for lunch," Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale in Twilight, said to Rob during their Alaska Airlines flight from LA to Vancouver on Aug. 10. "I thought you were going to keep it undercover?"

Confirming his relationship with Kristen, Rob whispered for Nikki to keep her voice down. But it appears there's just no hiding the love between him and Kristen, especially now that they're reunited for the 10-week Eclipse shoot. "Rob likes interesting, smart girls," Justin Chon, who plays high school student Eric Yorkie in the Twilight saga, tells Life & Style. "I think once he finds the right girl, Rob's a real relationship kind of guy."

Kristen chopped her locks and dyed them black for her role as rocker Joan Jett in The Runaways. So what's the plan to get Bella's thick burgundy 'do back by the time Eclipse begins filming on Aug. 17? "To get that pigment out is going to be very difficult," the Twilight cast's colorist, Stuart Gavert of Beverly Hills' Gavert Atelier Salon, tells Life & Style about Kristen's dark hue. "I'd bleach her hair to remove the color, then condition it and match it to the weave she wears in the film."

THE STARS GET READY FOR ACTION

Taylor Lautner isn't the only one who's bulked up for the Twilight franchise. "I'm putting on a lot of weight as fast as I can, going to the gym and doing fight training and a lot of stunt work," Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen, tells Life & Style about what he's been up to since reporting to the Vancouver set. Ditto for Jackson Rathbone, who stars as Jasper Cullen: "Right now we're choreographing [the fights] and working out," he tells Life & Style. Even the girls are in on the action. "I have muscle in my arms!" says Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Cullen.

The screams from fans were deafening when the cast of the Twilight sequel, New Moon, hit Comic-Con International in San Diego on July 23. But the crowd could practically hear a pin drop when a certain question was posed at a news conference with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Addressing Kristen's relationship with Rob, a reporter noted, "You guys have great chemistry on film roman­tically -- is there any chemistry off camera?"

Instead of denying their romance (which Life & Style was the first to report), a clearly annoyed Kristen chose not to answer. But her relationship with Rob, which ended in July, was the only thing off-limits as the cast whetted appetites for New Moon, which hits theaters on Nov. 20. "It's the beginning of a love triangle," said Taylor, discussing how his character, Jacob, falls for Bella after she loses Edward.

Following a wild rumor started by an Australian magazine report that Kristen Stewart is pregnant with Robert Pattinson's love child, Kristen has been telling everyone on the set of her new movie, The Runaways, that it's completely false.

An insider on the set of the film about the life story of rocker Joan Jett and her band, tells Life & Style: "Joan and Kristen managed to have a laugh about the rumor. Kristen just thought it was ridiculous."

As Life & Style reports, Kristen and Rob have since broken up and he's moved on to his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be destined to be together as Twilight's Edward and Bella, but fate seems to have something else in store for them in real life. Life & Style can reveal exclusively that Robert has ended his relationship with Kristen and is dating Emilie de Ravin, the leading lady in his new movie, Remember Me.

"Robert met Emilie a while ago and has always liked her," says an insider close to the heartbreaker. "He's the one who suggested to the producers at Summit [the same production company responsible for the Twilight series] that she'd be perfect for Remember Me. In the original screenplay, her part was written for an actress of Mexican descent."

"I watched them filming on July 2, and they got along very, very well," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "At one point between takes, they stopped into a shop to get a drink together; they seem to like each other a lot."

The two have also gotten cozy after hours. On June 14, as Life & Style previously reported, Robert and Emilie met up in a secluded garden area of the Bowery Hotel. "The connection between them was electric," says another eyewitness. Then things turned serious, according to the eyewitness: Robert's Twilight co-star Elizabeth Reaser (who plays Edward's mother, Esme) joined them, and when Emilie admitted she was worried about how her kissing scenes looked on-screen, Elizabeth told her, "However you kiss Rob in real life, just do that!"

Love is proving to be a battlefield for Kristen Stewart. On June 19, Kristen's new beau spent the morning making out with his leading lady, Emilie de Ravin, while watching the waves roll in on a deserted beach in New York's Far Rockaway, Queens. As Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart filmed their intense, romantic scenes as lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in Twilight, they began to fall for each other offscreen. That makes perfect sense, according to their castmate Ashley Greene. "I get little crushes on a lot of people who I work with," Ashley, who plays Alice Cullen, told Life & Style at Rock & Republic's Robertson store opening on June 11 in LA. "You have to make yourself believe there's something about them that you love."

But now that Rob, 23, has successfully wooed Kristen, 19, away from her boyfriend Michael Angarano, one insider wonders where their relationship will go. "For Rob, half the attraction with Kristen was the chase," the insider reveals. "He pursued her so heavily -- being a crazy romantic, proposing marriage and everything. Now that Rob's with her, it's just anticlimactic."

If Rob loses interest, it could have a major negative impact on the next three movies in the Twilight series, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. "People are just so enamored with the connection that they portray on-screen. If they failed to do that in the second and third ones, I think we'd be in trouble," Ashley says. "They're great on-screen, and obviously they get along," Ashley tells Life & Style. "But maybe they should just not be a couple until after the fourth movie, Breaking Dawn."

After spending months filming the Twilight sequel New Moon in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Montepulciano, Italy, Kristen Stewart finally returned to LA -- where her boyfriend of three years, Michael Angarano, lives -- in the first week of June. But there was no romantic reunion for the twosome. In fact, they weren't spotted together at all.

While Kristen, 19, and Michael, 21, were both in the city between May 31 and June 6, she busied herself with an Allure photo shoot and production-studio visits, and he whiled away the days playing basketball in the driveway of his parents' Woodland Hills, Calif., home. They never crossed paths.

Just days before accepting the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart perfected their smooching skills during a 10-hour shoot for Twilight's sequel, New Moon, on May 27 in Montepulciano, Italy. From 6 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Rob readily puckered up to his gorgeous co-star, capturing the emotional reunion scene between their characters, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. "They were happy and laughing throughout filming," spills a set extra. "It was like they were the only two actors on set."

All eyes have been on cast members from the moment they descended on the quaint Italian town in late May. Pictures of Rob were placed in windows of village restaurants, bookstores replaced Tuscany guide displays with the Twilight series and the Montepulciano Tourism Center piled New Moon posters and fliers on its front desk. Despite all the attention, Rob's managed to share a few stolen moments with Kristen, who's maintained a flirty relationship with Robert while supposedly dating actor Michael Angarano. "I saw them surfing the Internet together," a hotel bartender at the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace in nearby Chianciano said. "They were looking and laughing at something."

The rest of the British heartthrob's time was spent filming -- and refining his six-pack abs. An insider reveals that producers told Rob to work out every day for the movie but believes the request was just a ploy to keep him from drinking the night before big scenes. "It was their way of keeping him in line," says the insider.

The charming rolling hills of Italy offered a marked contrast to the content of the New Moon shoot. "These are the most frightening and nerve-racking scenes," Ashley Greene, who stars as Alice Cullen, tells Life & Style. "It's when [the powerful Volturi vampires] are debating whether to kill Edward and Bella." But thankfully the Italian jaunt wasn't all dreary business. "I had a day off and went to Siena," Ashley, 22, told Life & Style at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31 in LA. "I took a ton of pictures and went to all the cathedrals. That was really fun. "Italy was everything it's cracked up to be," she continued. "We were in Tuscany, and it was beautiful. It was amazing. You step back and you're going, 'This is what I'm getting paid to do?' We didn't want to leave."

Robert Pattinson really sank his teeth into amfAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS benefit in Cannes, France, on May 21, auctioning two kisses on the cheek for $28,000 apiece. But the Twilight hunk felt even more charitable at the event's afterparty at Hôtel du Cap, where he gave one lucky lady lots of smooches -- free! Robert, 23, strolled into Eden Roc bar and quickly struck up a flirty conversation with gorgeous LA resident Erika Dutra. "Erika was introduced to Robert by a mutual friend at the beginning of the night," explains an eyewitness, "and from that point on, he was smitten with her."

The duo holed up in a cozy corner of the bar's lush balcony and sipped drinks from 1 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. "Robert took pictures of her, and they were even seen kissing," continues the onlooker. "There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time."

As Life & Style has reported, Rob's been pining for his co-star Kristen Stewart for months, so was Erika just a casual hookup or something more? "It's absolutely possible that you can meet someone on the street and suddenly fall in love with that person," Robert has admitted in the past. "That often happens to me."

He's aware of how his fame has changed the dating game, though. And Erika, who's an ex-University of Southern California student and the rumored pal of actor Emile Hirsch, seems to understand Robert's need for discretion: After befriending him on Facebook and plugging his phone number and e-mail address into her BlackBerry in the early hours of May 22, Erika swiftly made her formerly public Facebook friend list private.

Kristen Stewart may be the one Robert Pattinson wants, but while she was filming thousands of miles away, Robert, her New Moon co-star, hooked up with a gorgeous blonde in Cannes! Los Angeles resident Erika Dutra and Robert were spotted canoodling at the post-party for amfAR Cinema Against AIDS in Cannes.

"Erika was introduced to Robert by a mutual friend at the beginning of the night and he was smitten with her from that point on," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "He took pictures of her, sat with her all night, and the two of them were even seen kissing! There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time."

And it seems the night didn't end there for the two: "Erika and Robert even left the party together!" the eyewitness reveals.

Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have spent innumerable late nights together at clubs since filming began on the movie's sequel, New Moon, in Vancouver, British Columbia. But on May 13, they took the next step in their relationship: meeting the parents! Kristen bonded with Rob's folks, Richard and Clare Pattinson, over Kobe beef meatballs during the actor's 23rd birthday dinner at Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar in Vancouver. "Kristen and Rob have amazing chemistry," their co-star Elizabeth Reaser told Life & Style at The Bash charity event on May 17 in LA. "They're great together."

That's bad news for the actress' longtime boyfriend, Michael Angarano. He visited the Vancouver set of New Moon twice since March, but it did little to keep Rob and Kristen from strengthening their connection. "It's intense when you do such an intense project," Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke told Life & Style at the ASCAP Awards in LA on May 11. "Robert and Kristen are interested in each other, like a fascination."

And it's been that way from the very start. "To decide who was going to be Edward, I had chemistry reads over at my house on my bed," Catherine tells Life & Style, "and when it was Rob and Kristen together, you could just tell ... this is it."
