In 2009, 1.5 million people will be diagnosed with cancer -- and of those, 10,730 will be children under the age of 14. So Miley Cyrus, Jesse McCartney, and Demi Lovato are joining forces to help fight the disease.
The three singer-actors will be performing at the second annual Concert of Hope on Sunday, October 25 at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. The concert will benefit life-saving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope.

Miley Cyrus has been Twittering for days about feeling sick -- she even had to take a 15 minute break during her September 29 show in Salt Lake City before she could finish performing! Luckily Miley's illness isn't too bad -- the singer is suffering from a case of strep throat. Miley's lil sis Noah Cyrus has been nursing her back to health with popsicles, and she's been relaxing by watching Disney cartoons like The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, and Sleeping Beauty.
Famous friends like Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, and Mitchel Musso have all sent Miley get better wishes.
Two of Miley's Wonder World tour dates have been rescheduled -- tonight's October 2nd show in Omaha has been moved to October 13th, and Kansas City's October 3rd show has been pushed to October 17th. Paperless tickets will be honored for both dates.

Anyone who has ever heard Demi Lovato belt out a tune would probably agree that she is a spectacularly talented singer. But besides just singing, she is also most admirable for her striking confidence and her determination to never compromise her beliefs despite what others might say.
Last summer while she was touring with the Jonas Brothers, she fell while she was on stage and she wrote on her MySpace blog, "I wasn't lying when I said I'm clumsy! Oh well... made for a good laugh and a couple good jokes backstage!!"
She never takes herself to seriously and if something doesn't go exactly how she had planned, she gets right back up and tries again. In her song "Believe in Me," she reminds us how important it is to always remain positive.

Lesson Learned: Never lose confidence in yourself. Your confidence will be the one thing that can get you through any situation no matter what. Sometimes it can be hard to stay optimistic because often times, things don't always go exactly as you planned. But it's important to never take yourself too seriously and remember that even though you're not perfect, everyone makes mistakes and the one thing that you are perfect at is being yourself!

Demi Lovato's new album Here We Go Again debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart! Demi's second album nabbed the top spot by selling 108,000 copies in the first week, while Jordin Sparks' Battlefield came in at No. 7.
In other album news, the Jonas Brothers' Lines, Vines, and Trying Times fell from the top ten this week, and Hannah Montana 3, the TV soundtrack went from No. 3 to No. 5. Still going strong, Taylor Swift's Fearless remains at No. 9, and has been on the charts for 37 weeks, while Lady Gaga's The Fame is No. 10, making it her 39th week on the Billboard 200!

J-14 was one of the firsts to report that Demi Lovato and Trace Cyrus have been tweeting each other sweet messages on Twitter recently. But Demi put the kabosh on the dating rumors when she wrote on her Twitter, "If you're with somebody you're really proud of, why hide it? But if I ever did have a boyfriend, I wouldn't lie to you guys. I wouldn't deny it because, lying is just wrong. Especially to fans."
Now look at the very similar tweets Demi and Trace both posted within an hour of each other last night. (PS: Both stars were in L.A. at the same time...)

It's official -- after over a year of rumors, Camp Rock 2 is ready to, well, rock! It was just announced today that the title will be Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are set to reprise their roles at the band Connect 3 and Mitchie Torres. Meaghan Martin, Alyson Stoner, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and Roshon Fegan have also signed on for the second movie.
Here's the deal: The campers will return to Camp Rock for another summer -- but this time there will be a rival camp, Camp Star, that has taken some of Camp Rock's staff and campers! Camp Star's big shot, Luke (played by Matthew "Mdot" Finley), will challenge Camp Rock to a huge showdown to see which camp really is the most talented.
And if that wasn't enough drama, Nick's character, Nate, will have a love interest this movie! He's going to fall hard for the owner of Camp Star's daughter, Dana (played by Chloe Bridges).
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is set to premiere in the summer of 2010!
