Nick Jonas & The Administration will perform their first single "Who I Am" for the first time on the Grammy Nominations Concert Live! special on December 2 on CBS.

Who I Am is also the title of their debut album that includes songs called "The Rose Garden," "Olive & An Arrow," "Conspiracy Theory," "State of Emergency," and a cover of the Jonas Brothers' song "Tonight." Who I Am is scheduled to come out on February 2.

The Jonas Brothers had to cancel their concert in Zurich today because Nick fell ill with respiratory infection.

They announced it officially on their Twitter via TwitLonger:

"We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight.

The band, the management, and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice. We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans. Tickets can be refunded as of Monday, 9 November until 31 December 2009 at the presale agency."

J-14 was one of the first to report that Nick Jonas is releasing a solo album under his new band Nick Jonas and The Administration. Instantly there were rumors that this was a sign that the Jonas Brothers were breaking up.

But Nick, Joe, and Kevin took to their MySpace to set the record straight:

Nick Jonas & The Administration

#3 - This project will be released early in 2010

#4 - We are ALL excited about this project AND what we are doing TOGETHER!

A news story hit the internet today concerning Nick Jonas & The Administration. We are so excited to share it with you...OUR FANS.

From Nick:

About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians - guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone... I would say its "heart & soul", because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.

We've said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can't break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn't wait to hear the record.

My brothers and I couldn't be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.

I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!

We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. They are amazing works of art from an amazing talent...our brother. We will see you later this year, next year, and hopefully for the rest of our lives.

After a lot of rumors and speculation, Mrs. Jonas just confirmed that yes, Nick is working on a solo project! "Nick is working on a solo act -- it's called Nick Jonas and The Administration. Shhh! He's at the photo shoot for the album cover right now," Mama J says.

Hmm -- sounds like "The Administration" was inspired by Nick's nickname "Mr. President," don'tcha think?! ;-)

- As a kid, Nick performed on Broadway in musicals like Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, and Beauty and the Beast -- as Chip the teacup (Fame star Asher Book also played Chip!)
- When he was a solo artist known as Nicholas Jonas, he released the singles "Dear God" and "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)".
- Nick is gearing up to be one of two best men in his brother Kevin's wedding (Joe will be the other best man).
- What does Nick look for in a girl? "A girl who understands my crazy schedule and who will be there so support me, and just a girl who can make me smile."

Ever since Kevin Jonas announced his engagement to Danielle Deleasa, the big question has been... who will be Kev's best man at his wedding: Joe or Nick. Or maybe even lil' bro Frankie?

Kevin finally answered the question: "They both are!" Two best men? Weird? Well, it totally makes sense because Danielle has two sisters as well! "It works out really well because there are two maids of honor and two best men!"

J-14 was the ONLY teen mag at Miley Cyrus' Today show concert in NYC today. (We Twittered live from the show -- in the pouring rain!!) We got up close and personal with the star as she sang her new hit "Party in the U.S.A." and her songs "The Climb," "See U Again," and a new song "Kicking and Screaming."

Nick, who?! According to a source, Miley Cyrus was spotted kissing and cuddling with her The Last Song co-star, Liam Hemsworth, at a Nashville airport on Wednesday!

Miley and Liam spent all summer together in Tybee Island, Georgia filming the flick, but for most of the summer, Miley was rumored to be back on with Nick Jonas. This story comes on the heels of sources telling J-14 that Miley and Nick were definitely back on!

However, as usual, Miley took to her Twitter to tell her side:

There's never a dull moment on tour with the Jonas Brothers! Not only do Nick, Joe, and Kevin have theme nights backstage -- Pirate night, Hawaiian night, for example -- they have been keeping everyone on their toes during their nightly sound checks -- by wearing different costumes! And the boys have been posting their crazy antics via their Twitter. Last night was a moose costume (pictured above).
