Support Breast Cancer Awareness: Band Tees from Victory Records!

VictoryTees_BreastCancerAwarenessMonth.jpg

If you've been seeing a lot of pink in some weird places -- like on football players during last week's NFL games or on, say, your brother -- it's probably because this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (or because they really like pink and just haven't told you yet).

This month is all about supporting breast cancer research in a fashionable way, and Victory Records is psyched to help out the cause. Ten designs from Victory Records bands -- including Bayside, A Day To Remember, and Silverstein -- got a pink-themed reboot! Not only do they come in girls' and guys' sizes, 15% of all sales from these "Victory Over Cancer" tees will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Check out all of the limited-edition tees at Victory Records.

How do you feel about bands helping out the cause? What would you do to raise awareness?

CCStees_BreastCancerAwareness.jpg

CCS Girls Online, the skateboarding and snowboarding lifestyle site, supports more than just boarding -- for the last four years, they've partnered with Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) to offer limited-edition tees during October, aka National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

They have 18 different styles available, including Burton's "Melon tank and Circa's red "Etched Heart" tee, plus a black tee designed by this year's "Design a B4BC Tee" contest winner, Sarah Johnson of Chillicothe, Missouri. "I designed the tee for all the women in my life and everywhere that have been affected by this disease and the hope for a cure," Sarah says.

Audrina supports Yoplait's "Know Your Girls" Campaign

AudrinaPatridgeBreastCancerAwareness.jpg

There are many organizations out there dedicated to finding a cure to breast cancer through many different means, and one of the biggest ones is Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This year, Yoplait has teamed up with the foundation and formed the "Know Your Girls" Campaign.

"The 'Know Your Girls' program is designed to engage young women, help them connect with each other through education, and ultimately pass along information on the best breast-health habits and screening measures," Yoplait's marketing manager Tammy says. "There still is no cure for breast cancer, so education and early detection programs are some of the strongest defenses against the disease; we are asking young women to educate themselves and spread awareness to their peers."

The Hills' Audrina Patridge supports the cause -- she was spotted in Hollywood wearing a "Know Your Girls" tee after a workout. Grab a friend and head to facebook.com/yoplaitpledge to get more info on the fight to raise awareness to all girls.

Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Ann Veronica totes!

AnnVeronicatotes.jpg

J-14 loves pink (from pastel to neon, natch!), so we're super happy to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which takes place during all of October.

There are tons of different ways to support breast cancer awareness, and throughout the month, we're gonna show you a few stylish ways to lend a helping hand.

One really cute item we found is the Ann Veronica "Bravery" tote. It's awesome for school or as a gift for mom, plus it's got a great message behind it -- Ann Veronica's owner, Ann V. Perrino, made the print after she discovered that a friend had breast cancer. Talk about an awesome way to support a pal! Even cooler -- 10% of the sales of any "Bravery" print item goes to the Maine Cancer Foundation. You can can check out the cute totes here.

For more information on the fight against breast cancer, please check out these great, informative sites:

Do you know anyone who's suffered from breast cancer? How do you support your friends when they need help?
