And he is the "chosen one" -- the only person who can save Muggles and Wizards from Lord Voldemort (No Biggie! ;) ) The Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter, celebrates his birthday today, July 31st! And yes, we mean the character Harry Potter, not Daniel Radcliffe, who celebrated his birthday just over a week ago!

Fun facts about Harry:
-Harry's first crush (and also first kiss!) was with Cho Chang, a witch from Ravenclaw house who was a year older than him!
- Besides being an extraordinary wizard, Harry is also a fantastic Quidditch player and became the youngest seeker in over a century for the Gryffindor team! (In Book 7 we learn that his godfather, Sirius gave him his first broom (a toy one) for his first birthday!)
- Harry won the extremely challenging and dangerous Triwizard Tournament in his fourth year along with Cedric Diggory a.k.a Rob Pattinson a.k.a. Edward Cullen. ;)
- Harry was technically born in 1980, so that makes today his 29th birthday!

Wizard and muggle world unite -- it's time to celebrate Daniel Radcliffe's 20th birthday today!

We've watched him grow from a tiny little tyke in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when he was just 11 years old into a certified hottie in the uber successful Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that came out last week and has already shattered its own records to be the highest grossing HP movie to date ($159.7 million in the first five days -- whoa!).

- What does Dan think of the early Harry Potter films? "For me to look back on the old films is an almost entirely destructive thing to do. I just torture myself over it. I mean, I was young. I can't be held accountable for the performance I gave in the first two films: I was 11 and 12. I wasn't like Dakota Fanning ... who could seemingly just do it. It was very much a child's performance." Awww... so modest!
- He has two dogs, Binka and Nugget.

We all fell in love with today's birthday boy as Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl, and now we can't wait to see him starring in Footloose opposite Julianne Hough next year! A very happy birthday today to hottie Chace Crawford!

-When asked who was the best kisser on Gossip Girl, Chace couldn't pick anyone! But he did admit that he prepares for kissing scenes by brushing his teeth!
-The Gossip Girl star has said he's really good at karaoke!
-One of the J-14 editors ran into Chace (and his costars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr!) on the NYC subway once! He was dressed super casual in a white tee and a black baseball cap!
