The cast of The Secret Life of the American Teenager -- including Shaliene Woodley, Daren Kagasoff, Ken Baumann, Francia Raisa, Greg Finely, Megan Park, and India Eisley -- has teamed up with DoSomething.com to collect 1,000,000 pounds of food by December 15th.

In 2009, 1.5 million people will be diagnosed with cancer -- and of those, 10,730 will be children under the age of 14. So Miley Cyrus, Jesse McCartney, and Demi Lovato are joining forces to help fight the disease.
The three singer-actors will be performing at the second annual Concert of Hope on Sunday, October 25 at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. The concert will benefit life-saving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope.

Selena Gomez is hoping to change the world by reaching out to kids in need. The Wizards of Waverly Place star was appointed UNICEF Ambassador last week -- and is now in Ghana to meet with the children there.
"Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes," Selena said. "I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment, UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the lifesaving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality."
Not just that, Selena is the youngest UNICEF Ambassador ever -- you go girl!

To celebrate the premiere of The CW's new drama, The Vampire Diaries, on September 10, the show is launching the "Starve a Vampire. Donate Blood" initiative going on right now to encourage blood donations in high schools and colleges.
Each donation station location will feature The Vampire Diaries-themed refreshment areas and exclusive footage of the show will air on TV monitors. Plus every participant will get special Vampire Diaries goodies!
The show's stars are even visiting the blood drive at Georgia Tech today to encourage more donations!

Despite reports that Miley Cyrus would be joining the Jonas Brothers on stage in Dallas for the opening night of their World Tour -- J-14 can confirm they are not! Miley set the record straight when J-14 exclusively asked her at the A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival. "No, I don't think so!" Miley answered. In fact, Miley never even heard that rumor!
But no worries all you Niley fans -- on Lines, Vines and Trying Times (Out ONE WEEK from today!), Miley and Nick sang together on the duet, "Before The Storm."
