J-14 is scouting out bands on the brink... and this week's pick is The Summer Set!

Here are five things you need to know about The Summer Set, whose album, Love Like This, is out today!

1- The band came up with their name by opening up an atlas -- and ending up on Somerset, NJ, which they changed into "Summer Set."

2- They're currently on tour with Cartel and This Providence through
November 27.

3- Talk about girl power -- The Summer Set's got a girl drummer, Jess Bowen! But she says the guys don't treat her any differently!

4- Their music is all about the fun. Lead singer Brian Dales says, "We're just five normal kids, who live normal lives making the music that we love. You can hear the fun on our records, but hopefully when people come to our shows, you can feel all the fun and love that we're putting out there and take part of it home with you!"

5- When Brian was first introduced to JONAS actress Chelsea Staub, it was practically love at first sight! He wrote a song about his crush and performed it live for her at the Troubadour in Los Angeles last October... now the two are dating in real life! (Look how cute they are together!)

It's a very happy 21st birthday for Chelsea Staub today! The JONAS actress is taking some time off to celebrate in style -- in Vegas with friends!! Happy Birthday, Chelsea!

Fun Facts About Chelsea:
-Way before she was acting alongside the Jonas brothers, Chelsea's first role ever was in a children's production of "The Reluctant Dragon!" She only had one line :)
-Chelsea was the student body president in middle school and on the state champion cheer and pom squad!
-Did you know that Jesse McCartney and Chelsea Staub shared a kiss -- on the pilot episode of Summerland?

JONAS star Chelsea Staub received the ultimate compliment -- a boy wrote a song about her! J-14 was the first magazine to ever ask her about the tune, and she dished to us all about the song "Chelsea" by the hot new band, The Summer Set.

J-14: We came across a song called "Chelsea." Tell us about it!

Chelsea Staub: Well, "Chelsea" is a song by The Summer Set. I went to high school with two of the band members [in Arizona], and they're really great friends. I moved to L.A. and they called me a couple years later and said, 'We started this band it's called The Summer Set and were coming to play a show in L.A. and we're really nervous. We don't know anybody -- will you come to the show to support us? Plus, we want to see you!' And I was like, 'Absolutely!'

J-14: So what happened when you went to the show?

Chelsea Staub: I went to the show and loved them. I thought they were so great! I instantly became a fan and continued to hang out with them. And I really hit it off with the lead singer, Brian [Dales]. A little while later they said, 'We wrote you a song.' And the first time I heard it, it was live on stage. It was very flattering! I was literally like crying the first time I heard it -- I could not believe it!

J-14: So when can our readers hear "Chelsea?"

Chelsea Staub: It's going to be their first single! They're releasing their first album this September!

J-14: Are you going to be in the music video?

Chelsea Staub: Yep! I'm going to be in their video. I can't believe it! It's one of the most flattering things anyone has ever done for me. Its so sweet and unbelievable. I can't get over it!

Even celebs like Chelsea Staub had totally make fools of themselves in school! Chels couldn't hold back when J-14 asked her to dish an embarrassing moment from when she was 14! Luckily, Chelsea can look back at it now and laugh! :-)

While chatting with Chelsea, she revealed to us exclusively that her boyfriend, Brian Dales, who's in the band The Summer Set, wrote her a song to win her heart! In fact, we were the first ones to ever ask her about the song "Chelsea!"

JONAS star Nicole Anderson was sooo happy when J-14 asked her about something special that happened to her when she was 14 on the Disney Channel Cruise!

And just like her best friend and co-star Chelsea Staub and Jason Dolley, Nicole also dished to us her favorite memory from the cruise!

One of our favorite memories from the Disney Channel Cruise was hanging with Allstar, Chelsea Staub, Nicole Anderson, and Jason Dolley at the Pirate Party! Jason even dressed up like Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean!

We got to sit front row for the Allstar concert on the Disney Channel Cruise last week! Allstar is the next big thing! Not only do their tunes rock, but they just signed a record deal with Hollywood Records! (The Jonas Brothers, Miley, Demi, and Selena are all on the same label!)

Nathan, Cameron, Zach, and Michael told us that J-14 is the "best magazine ever" and that they even read it! Here's a look at their concert from last week. Make sure to watch 'til the end where you'll see JONAS star Chelsa Staub dance with a random little girl from the crowd. So sweet!

During our trip on the Disney Channel Cruise with Jason Dolley, Nicole Anderson, and Chelsea Staub, we got to chill with the stars and they fed stingrays on Disney's island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. All three stars even took time to give J-14ers a shout out straight from the ocean! J-14 just got back from the Disney Channel Cruise and we had a total blast! On Sunday we got a front row seat as Jason Dolley, Nicole Anderson, Chelsea Staub, and the band Allstar greeted everyone on the ship before we set sail. Everyone was so excited to see the celebs for the very first time! Check out this video we took of the stars dancing and having a fun time:

And the stars roamed the ship just like everyone else! On Sunday night we saw Jason eating dinner with his family in one of the dining rooms and on Monday we saw two of the guys from Allstar walking on the deck by the pool!

If you could ask Nicole, Chelsea, and Jason anything you want, what would you ask?

JONAS star Chelsea Staub plays Stella, the boys' best friend and stylist. She dished exclusively to J-14 about what the Jonas Brothers are really like, on-set pranks, going to the boys' first concert, and more!

  J-14: Okay, spill it! What are the Jonas Brothers really like?
Chelsea: I would describe them as wonderful people. They've been raised right. You know those guys in school that are just like always nice and get straight A's and open your door and are probably on student council and on the football team? That's the Jonas Brothers and then just add really, really good looks and a lot of talent! They have a lot going for them!

J-14: The show seems really similar to your real life because you know the brothers as more than just rock stars, just like Stella.
Chelsea: Yeah. I first met the boys two years ago before they had been on the Hannah Montana tour, before their first album had even come out, before "S.O.S." had even hit the radio, and so when I first met them, they were just kids to me that I had seen on MySpace. I first saw one of their shows in Arizona and I bought my tickets at the door the day of. There were like 200 girls there. I dragged a couple of friends along from my hometown and said, "You've gotta see them! You've gotta come support my friends!" I remember we were back talking to them on their tour bus and my friends were like, "Oh hey, what's up?" They weren't really fazed -- they hadn't heard of them. They were text messaging and now, two years later, they're kicking themselves. They're like, "I can't believe we didn't talk to them and we didn't take a picture and like hang out when we had the chance!" So for me, it's been incredible to watch the climb.

  J-14: Cool. So, what's your favorite song from JONAS?
Chelsea: "Give Love a Try" is a really sweet song. That song actually appearances several times in our show and each time with a different take on it and a different love story. My other favorite is a song called "Work It Out". It's almost a throwback to 60s Beatles-type sound. Very let's get together and peace and love.

  J-14: We read that Joe played a prank on you by taking all of your stuff out of the dressing room? Any other pranks besides that?
Chelsea: There were always a lot of pranks. The big pranks started with the dressing room. Then while I was plotting my revenge for the dressing room prank, the boys actually got me a second time. I was like, "Why are the pranks always on me?" They went all out as far as hiding cameras and hiring actors to help with the prank and it's the second time I've almost cried. Now that it's on film, apparently it's going to show up somewhere. It will be somewhere because the evidence is on film. It's 20 minutes of me being really, really uncomfortable so I'm embarrassed that the world is eventually going to see it. They got me good.  

J-14: What else goes on behind the scenes when the camera's aren't rolling? Chelsea: When the cameras aren't rolling we're all teenagers. There's a cast of five pretty much. It's the three brothers who are obviously very close and then there's me and Nicole who have been friends for a long time and I met the brothers almost two years ago. We're all between the ages of 16 and 21, so we're very close in age. We have the same interests and are going through the same things with friends and relationships and also just wanting to hang out and quote movies and play pranks on each other and just be kids!

JONAS star Nicole Anderson, who plays the boys' self-proclaimed #1 fan Macy, chatted exclusively to J-14 about the show's season wrap party, her fave JONAS song, almost playing Stella, and more!

J-14: How did you land the part of Macy on Disney Channel's JONAS?
Nicole: I auditioned for Stella and then when they changed the plot they asked me to come back for Macy. It works out perfectly just because I feel like Stella was made for Chelsea -- I couldn't imagine anyone else playing it and she does such a good job at it. As soon as I read the script, I just had this feeling like the Macy role could be mine. I totally connected with it and I really had a lot of fun sort of dissecting the lines and making choices and stuff like that.

J-14: What was the funniest moment for you on set?
Nicole: There was one scene where I was filming with Chelsea and Joe and for some reason I had the worst case of giggles and I could not stop laughing. Anytime the director would say "Action," I'd start busting out laughing and Chelsea and Joe made it even harder because they started making funny faces and encouraging me. Finally we got through the scene, but that was one where I could not get through.

J-14: What is your favorite song from the guys on the show?
Nicole: It's called "Give Love a Try". It's so sweet. It's this acoustic song and it's really romantic. I think girls will love that song. It's so cute!

J-14: Did you take part in any on-set pranks?
Nicole: Luckily I never got pranked. I mostly just stayed out of it when they would be plotting against each other. I'd be like, "Nope, I don't want to know. I don't want to know what's going on. Don't tell me anything because I don't want to hear my name come up and then you guys play a prank on me!"

J-14: What was the wrap party for the first season of JONAS like?
Nicole: The wrap party was at a restaurant and it was the whole cast and crew and everybody over at the Disney Channel. It was really cool because they also showed us the first episode so it was kind of wrap party slash screening. Then we had karaoke and stuff like that so it was a lot of fun!

Your fave Disney stars like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato are coming together to help save the environment.

Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green will help bring awareness to four major areas in our environment: climate, water, waste, and habitats. Demi tells J-14, "The issue that's the most important to me is definitely global warming. I think we all need to make a difference."

You will have the opportunity to vote on how Disney will spend $1 million in donations to save the planet. Starting tomorrow the stars from the House of the Mouse, will be doing special environmental commercials on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Radio Disney, and Disney.com.

And what's Dylan Sprouse's going-green advice to you? Don't just sit around! "Don't be lazy because that is the main contributor to not being green. I literally know people who will turn on the sink when they should be brushing their teeth just to fake it. That's so lame. Don't be lazy," the Suite Life star tells J-14.
