J-14 was the only teen mag to go to Corbin Bleu's big NYC premiere for his new flick, Free Style, which hit theaters today!
In the flick, Corbin plays a motorcross racer who aspires to win the Amateur National Championship, but also has to support his family at the same time. The movie also stars Corey in the House cutie Madison Pettis.
Just last night, J-14 was chatting with Corbin Bleu at the premiere of his movie Free Style about his show, The Beautiful Life: TBL. In fact, he had to run off right away to get back to the New York City set to continue filming.
And less than 24 hours after we saw him head back to work comes the news his show on The CW -- costarring Sara Paxton and Mischa Barton and produced by Ashton Kutcher -- has been canceled.
The show had only aired for two weeks -- and is the first show of the new TV season to be given the ax (ouch!).
What new shows are you watching on TV this fall -- and which aren't you watching?
J-14 chatted with Corbin Bleu exclusively at In Touch Weekly's Icons + Idols MTV VMAs after-party about his new show on The CW, The Beautiful Life, premiering tonight!
If you're as obsessed as I am for The CW's hit shows like Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, then you are going to love their new drama, The Beautiful Life, premiering tonight!!
This series surrounds the lives of young models, living together as they try to make it big in New York City and featues some amazing actors (I bet you'll all recognize them) such as Sara Paxton, Mischa Barton, and Corbin Bleu! Not to mention equally as great newcomers, like my new fave hottie, Benjamin Hollingsworth (he's really cute!), who plays Chris Andrews, a first time model.
As you probably can imagine, drama ensues on-screen when fighting each other to book the next big job or fighting for that new model's heart. Could this mean catfights on the catwalk? I guess we'll have to wait and see!
So are tensions as high off-screen as on-screen? Not a chance! In fact, the cast is so close to each other that a few of them stopped by our latest InTune event (I got to meet Sara Paxton!) to support their cast mate, Corbin Bleu (who I was beyond excited to talk to, he is so nice!), while he performed for us!
Make sure you guys tune in to The Beautiful Life -- you won't want to miss it!

Since Michael Jackson's death yesterday, celebrities and fans have come together on their blogs, on television and through Twitter to celebrate the life of the King of Pop with pictures, memories, and the promise to keep his music alive.
Young celebs like Selena, Demi, Debby, and Keke used their goodnight Tweets to send love and prayers to the Jackson family, while others, like Kid Cudi, dedicated their recording session or shows that night to Michael. MJ greatly influenced our music." David Archuleta admitted, "ah, I can't get over MJ. I know everyone's talking about it but he deserves the respect. I hope people will appreciate what he's done." Miley Tweeted simply, "Michael Jackson was my inspiration." Britney Spears, who did a duet with Michael in 2001, was ready to go see him on tour. "He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life," Britney said, "I'm devastated he's gone!" Will.I.Am, of the Black Eyed Peas, was working with Michael on his new album. J-14 caught up with Another Cinderella Story star Drew Seeley who is currently playing Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid on Broadway through August 30.
He chatted with us about his opening night, working with Selena Gomez, and which High School Musical cast members he still keeps in touch with (remember, he went on tour with the HSM crew as Troy Bolton!).
J-14: How did you land the role of Prince Eric? Drew: I've been working with Disney for a number of years, but I've never worked with them on Broadway. When the opportunity to audition came up, I came right to New York, I auditioned and met the whole creative team. Then about two weeks later I got a call and they said, "Yeah! Let's do it!"
J-14: What was opening night of The Little Mermaid like? Drew: It couldn't have been more perfect. My parents, my drama teacher from high school, and a lot of my best friends were there. Everybody came out to support me. The cast made me feel welcome right away and everybody has been awesome. It's going to be a great summer -- I'm really excited!
J-14: We hear there was a huge crowd of fans waiting for you when you left the stage door -- what was that like? Drew: It was crazy! I was like, "Are the Jonas Brothers here? What's going on?" It was great!
J-14: Selena Gomez said that you were her favorite co-star of all time. What was it like working with her in Another Cinderella Story? Drew: She's such a sweetheart and always a professional. It was funny when we first started working together because she had experience being on set from Wizards of Waverly Place and I had experience with music, so we helped each other out a lot. We learned a lot from each other and we still keep in touch.
J-14: Is there anyone that you still keep in touch with from High School Musical? Drew: I still talk to Corbin [Bleu] and his band all the time -- those guys are really good friends of mine. And a few weeks ago I shot a few webisodes with Lucas [Grabeel] for a series that's called, I Kissed a Vampire. We both play vampires, but that's all I can say about it. It's going to be released over the summer.
J-14: Speaking of vampires, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? Drew: I'm Team Bella -- she's cute!
This fall, HSM's Corbin Bleu will be starring in a new TV show on The CW, The Beautiful Life. The show, also starring Mischa Barton (The OC) and Sara Paxton (Summerland), is about a group of male and female models living together in NYC.

J-14 just got off a live video interview with High School Musical alumni Corbin Bleu, where he talked about his brand new album, Speed of Light, that kicks off with the catchy single, "Moments That Matter."
J-14 also asked him about having worked with Twilight star Kristen Stewart years ago in the movie, Catch That Kid! "Kristen's a good friend of mine," Corbin answered in response to our question that came to us live from one of our J-14 Twitter followers. "I haven't seen her for a while though but it was great working with her back then while we worked with each other. She was always very funny. We had a good time on that set racing the carts!"
And what does Corbin think of her career now? "I've seen Twilight -- twice!"
Another question that came from a J-14 Twitterer that we asked him was whether he would be in HSM4 (or College Musical 1!). But he says he's done with the franchise. "I'm going to move on to do some different characters," he told us. "Just like anything else, I'm moving on to a new chapter."
Stay tuned for more from our interview with Corbin!
