At Disney Channel's A Summer Soiree: The Magic of Mentoring event, Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie shared his favorite memory in J-14's exclusive video series, "When I Was 14..." where he rescued a gigantic dog at a waterpark!
What's your favorite summer memory?
Disney just announced a new series! Set to premiere in 2010, their new comedy series Good Luck Charlie, stars Jason Dolley and Bridget Mendler. The show is about a family who's lives go bonkers when a new baby sister, Charlie, arrives. Bridget plays Teddy and Jason plays Casey, who are the two oldest siblings. At the end each episode, Teddy makes a video diary for Charlie about the day's crazy adventures.
Although this is Bridget's first big role on a Disney series, she is no stranger to DC. She played Nick Jonas' love interest on JONAS and will be on a special episode of Wizards of Waverly Place, "Wizards vs. Vampires" where she plays Justin's (David Henrie) Vampire GF. "Wizards vs. Vampires" premieres on Friday, June 24 at 8 pm ET/PT. Here's a sneak peek pic:

This just in! Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie will premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 28 at 8 pm ET/PT. The movie follows the Russo siblings on a Caribbean vacation where Selena's character, Alex, casts a spell that she wishes her parents never met. The only way for her to reverse the spell is to find the Stone of Dreams.
The flick was filmed earlier this year in Puerto Rico and the cast kept us up-to-date about all their Puerto Rican activities. Check out J-14's WOWP The Movie features:

Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie celebrates his 20th birthday today!
Fun facts about David:
- David is also on the funny CBS sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. He plays the future son of Ted Moseby... but we don't know who the mother is yet! "Hanging on the set with the actors Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel on a show that took off to be a big hit is very cool!" David says.
- He also has a production company called YUTE Productions. " I work with many talented film makers and writers to produce Y-Gen content."
- David had a recurring role on That's So Raven as Larry. "It was the first show that I'd done that actually appealed to people my age!"

Your fave Disney stars like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato are coming together to help save the environment.
Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green will help bring awareness to four major areas in our environment: climate, water, waste, and habitats. Demi tells J-14, "The issue that's the most important to me is definitely global warming. I think we all need to make a difference."
You will have the opportunity to vote on how Disney will spend $1 million in donations to save the planet. Starting tomorrow the stars from the House of the Mouse, will be doing special environmental commercials on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Radio Disney, and Disney.com.
And what's Dylan Sprouse's going-green advice to you? Don't just sit around! "Don't be lazy because that is the main contributor to not being green. I literally know people who will turn on the sink when they should be brushing their teeth just to fake it. That's so lame. Don't be lazy," the Suite Life star tells J-14.

Since the Twitter phenomenon took off, we've all been following all of our favorite stars during their in every step of their lives! J-14 was the first teen magazine to start Twittering -- so now we're on Twitter Patrol to get to the bottom of the Fake Twitterers out there!
First up, Hannah Montana: The Movie's Lucas Till does NOT Twitter. We got the scoop straight from him just moments ago. "Actually no, that's an imposter," Lucas said. "I don't have a Twitter yet. Its so frustrating! My friends all the time are like, 'Hey you're coming to New York?' And I'm like, 'Yeahhhh...how did you know that?' I don't have a Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter. And they get really personal photos too sometimes! It's really weird."
Next, we talked to Sonny with a Chance and 17 Again star Sterling Knight last week and his too is a fake! "No, I do not have a Twitter," he tells J-14 exclusively. "No Twitter for Sterling."
But that doesn't mean they're all fake! There are some real celeb Twitterers out there.
Hannah Montana's Mitchel Musso's is real. "I just like that it can be the middle of the night and you can send out that text and get literally everyone texting you back," he tells J-14 exclusively. "They want to hear what you have to say. You can be as deep as you want. I remember I was with my buddy and we were on Twitter and he follows John Mayer, who sent out this massive text that just said, 'Can anyone tell me why I'm sitting in my bathtub with my guitar by myself?' or something like that. And all of these girls texted back."
The Suite Life on Deck star Debby Ryan is "obsessed" with Twitter too. "I got my friend Emma obsessed, too," she tells J-14 exclusively. "I told her, 'I want to keep you updated and you can keep me updated!' When I was going onto MySpace, I realized I was just going on to change my status and check my stuff and then leave. That's what I love about Twitter, you can look and in 10 seconds you can see, "Oh, Miley had a photo shoot. Demi can't wait to see Selena again." It's very cool because you can know people's plans and when people are free and when people aren't."
David Henrie of Wizards of Waverly Place is also an active (and real!) Tweeter. "It's fun to talk to fans and I can say funny stuff," he tells J-14. "It makes people's day sometimes!"

It's official -- Disney Channel's hit series Wizards Of Waverly Place will be a Disney Channel Original Movie. Filming begins Spring 2009 in NYC and Hollywood, and stars Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin and get this -- Demi Lovato!

In a recent interview, Wizards star Selena Gomez revealed that there are plans in the works for a Wizards Of Waverly Place movie! "We actually want to shoot it here in New York," Selena says. And what does she think might happen in the movie? "I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed."

Selena Gomez and David Henrie has been working overtime to get the Jonas Brothers on their Disney Channel smash show, Wizards of Waverly Place. This weekend, J-14 spent some QT with Selena and she gave us the latest on JB's possible guest spot.
"I'm hoping!" Selena told us, sounding very excited. "They're right next door to us now, so that'll be even easier. It would be great."
According to Selena, Joe Jonas already has his role all picked out. "Joe wants to be an evil wizard. And Nick and Kevin have to be with him, so they'd have to be evil too!"
For now, Selena is keeping her fingers crossed and trying to convince everyone over at the mouse house of what we think is a fabulous idea. "It's just a wish right now, but, hopefully," the Disney darling says.
