W-H-O-A! We are on New Moon overload! There are so many new clips and scenes floating around out there... and we can't decide if we're SO excited to have seen so much of the movie already -- or so bummed we've already seen too much of it! Ha!

Yup, there's 4:34-long leaked clip of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan's breakup scene (bring Kleenex for that one!)... we're not encouraging it, but we will tell you it's out there.

But we CAN tell you about this perfectly legal clip of a Volutri fight scene... you thought the action in Twilight was crazy? Wait until you see this one! Protect our poor Edward!

Imagine the squeals in our office when these 11 new shots from The Twilight Saga: New Moon landed in our mailboxes just a few hours ago! And of course we had to share them with J-14 readers right away!

Rob Pattinson returns to his break-out role as Edward Cullen, but emphasizes this movie is about Taylor, not him.

Okay, maybe he didn't exactly pin him up against a wall... but Twilight's Carlisle Cullen did get his movie son Edward Cullen to do something against his will: Twitter. Ha!

Peter Facinelli, who is famously Twilight's most prolific Tweeter as his costars have told J-14 exclusively, successfully got one of the most Twitter resistant stars, Rob Pattinson, to tweet.

Before hearts around the world go a-Twitter, he was only a guest Twitterer on Peter's account (darn it!).

Peter passed the phone using the Tweetie application off to Rob, introducing him, "Here's Rob..."

And Rob's message? "Hi, it's Rob... My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it."

Hahahaah! Gotta love it. (And gotta love that Rob's tweet is perfectly punctuated! Someone paid attention during grammar class!)

Miley Cyrus was a guest on The Jay Leno Show today as part of Jay's new segment, "10@10" where he asks a celeb 10 random questions, wherever they might be in the world.

Miley was sitting in the stadium as the crew was setting up the stage for her big concert tonight while she answered Jay's quick-fire questions. She said that she loves putting ketchup on pizza, that her favorite Jonas Brother is Frankie (eeks -- this aired on Nick's birthday!), that she thought what Kanye West did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs was "rude" and "disrespectful"... and that her nickname is "Spider Monkey!"

"Spider Monkey"? As in a reference to what Rob Pattinson's Edward Cullen calls Bella Swan in the Twilight movie (not book)!

As J-14 previously reported, Taylor Lautner, Rob Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart officially premiered this new trailer for New Moon last night at the VMAs.

There's just ONE more day until a brand new expanded The Twilight Saga: New Moon trailer will debut at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at 9 p.m... but MTV is already giving us a preview. Woohoo!

Death Cab for Cutie's "Meet Me on the Equinox" is the first single off of The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack... and the band was invited to watch an early cut of the movie (lucky guys!) that was FIVE HOURS long!

"It didn't have any effects or Foley or music or anything in it," Death Cab guitarist Chris Walla said. "And we couldn't make the schedule work, because it was five hours long,"We haven't seen anything more than anyone else has seen. We've seen the trailer, and that's really about it!"

He can fly. He does magic. And he is the "chosen one" -- the only person who can save Muggles and Wizards from Lord Voldemort (No Biggie! ;) ) The Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter, celebrates his birthday today, July 31st! And yes, we mean the character Harry Potter, not Daniel Radcliffe, who celebrated his birthday just over a week ago! 

Join J-14 in wishing Harry James Potter a very magical birthday!
 
Fun facts about Harry:
-Harry's first crush (and also first kiss!) was with Cho Chang, a witch from Ravenclaw house who was a year older than him!
- Besides being an extraordinary wizard, Harry is also a fantastic Quidditch player and became the youngest seeker in over a century for the Gryffindor team! (In Book 7 we learn that his godfather, Sirius gave him his first broom (a toy one) for his first birthday!)
- Harry won the extremely challenging and dangerous Triwizard Tournament in his fourth year along with Cedric Diggory a.k.a Rob Pattinson a.k.a. Edward Cullen. ;)
- Harry was technically born in 1980, so that makes today his 29th birthday!

Twilight fans beware -- Victoria might have the power of evasion... but she'll have a totally different look in the third installment of the film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which begins filming in Vancouver next month.

Summit Entertainment just confirmed to J-14 minutes ago that Rachelle Lefevre will NOT be returning to film the third chapter of the film series.

Instead, the Golden Globe-nominated star of Terminator Salvation and Spider-Man 3, Bryce Dallas Howard, will take over the role. Rachelle was unable to continue the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment.

The character of Victoria is more prominent in Eclipse, as she creates an army of newborn vampires that the Cullens must take down.

The official description of the movie reads: "In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. Getting anxious about the countdown to The Twilight Saga: New Moon on November 20? (136 days to go... not that we're counting or anything ;) ). If you want to cut your wait short by two days... go to France!

Yup, the Twilight sequel is opening in France on November 18 -- that's two days earlier than in the United States. Not just that, the movies and book series have different French titles. Twilight = Fascination, New Moon = Tentation, Eclipse = Hésitation, Breaking Dawn = Révélation (Even if you don't speak French, kinda makes sense, huh?).

Either way, you've got to see Bella Swan and Edward Cullen en francais... check out this trailer of New Moon dubbed in French, complete with the earlier release date.

Of course we're not suggesting any Twihards buy a plane ticket to Paris, BUT we do want to know... what's the craziest thing you'd do to see New Moon earlier?

J-14 totally gets it... we love Rob Pattinson and want nothing more than to see him up close and personal. But with the immediacy of the web these days (especially real-time updates on sites like Twitter), the level of fan frenzy has been taken to a whole new level.

Twilight and Rob fans now have the chance to know where he is at all times -- giving everyone a new way to get to know their favorite star. But fans have been rushing out to these locations in masses, often causing security issues.

And just hours ago, Rob was grazed in the hip by a New York City cab as he was trying to escape from a huge group of fans. He had five bodyguards with him... yet, still ended up having a close call.

J-14 is all about reporting the latest Rob news as soon as we hear it, but we will never give you the exact location for security reasons. (Case in point: We once knew the exact spot Rob was at near a park in New York City, but instead of naming the exact park, we said he was at at "a park"... and there are 1,700 parks in New York.)

So please sign this electronic petition below to Protect Rob Pattinson! We know, we wish we could spend every moment with Rob -- and knowing where he is at all times definitely makes it feel that way... but there is a point where it goes too far.

Let's all bond together to protect Rob. It's cool to report where he is and what he's doing -- but only to a certain point. Be careful what details you give out... and if you do end up going to try to catch a glimpse of Rob, be respectful of his privacy and security.

Edward Cullen saved Bella Swan from an almost tragic car accident, and now J-14 wants to ban all of the Twilight and Rob fans together to do it for Rob.

Keep Rob Pattinson safe! Spread the word... RT... forward to your friends... this is the kind of message we need to be spreading online. For Rob's sake.
