iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove was psyched to welcome four very cute boys -- aka Big Time Rush's Carlos Pena, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Kendall Schdmit -- into the Nickelodeon family -- by challenging them to a hockey game! After the girls vs boys match-up, Miranda, True Jackson, VP's Ashley Argota, and The Troop's Gage Golightly, and Victoria Justice all hung out with the Big Time Rush boys and made this exclusive behind-the-scenes video at the Paramount Studio back lots just for you!
Big Time Rush is a new Nickelodeon comedy about four best friends who get the opportunity of a lifetime -- the chance to be part of the pop scene in L.A.! Check out a preview video of Big Time Rush with the Nick girls below, and catch a special one-hour preview of the new show (it's set to officially premiere in 2010!) on Saturday, November 28, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
The summer's almost over (tear!) -- and some J-14 readers are already back in school -- so J-14 just had to ask your fave Nick stars about their biggest back-to-school memories. Turns out, iCarly'sNathan Kress was really scared when he started his elementary school days! What was he afraid of? Check out J-14's exclusive video to find out!
Have you ever been scared on the first day-of-school? What's the weirdest thing that's ever happened to you at school?
Keke was psyched to talk about her prom-themed sweet 16 party to J-14! The big fiesta included photo booths, prom pictures, and a king and queen. Who was crowned queen? Keke of course! "I'm definitely that host-y type of personality," Keke tells J-14. I want people to come from that party saying, 'That was the most incredible party I've been to and I had the most fun.'"
But the party didn't last just one night - the next day, Keke and her friends headed over to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA, and last night she saw Green Day live! That's some major celebrating, Keke!
Do you like Keke's prom-themed party idea? What would your perfect sweet 16 party? Which celeb would you want to sing "Happy Birthday" to you?
J-14 hung out with iCarly'sJennette McCurdy on the Nick Family Cruise, and she had on the cutest oufits! In fact, she loved wearing an awesome pair of cowboy boots the iCarly cast and crew got her for her 17th birthday! Since Jennette's got some of the cutest kicks - and clothes - around, we just had to get style tips to round out your summer looks just from her! Check out her exclusive advice just for J-14 readers!
What were your fave summer looks of this year? What looks are you going to rock before this summer ends? And do you agree with Jennette's fashion tips?
J-14 ran into True Jackson, VP'sKeke Palmer right after breakfast at the Windjammer Cafe on the Nick Family Cruise, and she told us that she was excited to head off the boat. We were in Mazatlan, on the West Coast of Mexico, a tourist town full of beaches and small shops. When we met up with her back on the boat that afternoon, we totally understood why she was so psyched. Check out all the things she got to do in one day, plus what she had in store for the next day's excursion (hint: iCarly's Jennette McCurdy did this too!).
What excursions would you want to do on a cruise? If you could hang out with Keke for a day, what activities would you want to do?
There were tons of shows at the Savoy Theater during the Nick Family Cruise, but the most special one was def on day one, where True Jackson, VP's Keke Palmer, iCarly's Nathan Kress, and iCarly'sJennette McCurdy talked to all the fams on the Mariner of the Seas during the Welcome Show! We've got more videos to come, but check out what Keke, Nathan, and Jennette just had to share with J-14 readers, including Keke's fave True Jackson ep this year and Jennette's plans for the rest of the cruise!
What do you think of Jennette's plans? What would you want to do ASAP on a cruise?
It's been an awesome week traveling from Los Angeles to Mexico and back again - Jennette and Keke both got to go on zip lines, explore Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, and do meet and greets with Nick fans. Jennette looked sleepy and happy when we caught up with her after her zip line excursion - she went down 9 of them! We've hung out with all three Nick stars after their welcome show, between filming for Nick, and even checked out the awesome outfits the girls get to wear (I am completely jealous and ready to raid Jennette's closet). During their filming today, Keke and Jennette even broke out into song, belting out Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" - talk about a girl power anthem!
Tons of pictures and videos will be heading your way next week, but I wanted to let you guys know how cool it's been to hang out on board Royal Carribean's Mariner of the Seas cruise ship and learn all about Mexican culture on shore, from big port cities to small villages - Puerto Vallarta even had a Wal-Mart, just like back home! Check back next week for lots of insider deets on the awesome Nick Family Cruise!
Did you get to hang out on the Nick Family Cruise or are you going on the one next week? Have you gone on a cruise before? What's your fave fam vacay been like? And if you could hang out with Jennette, Nathan, and Keke on a cruise, what fun things would you want to do?

The iCarly star is celebrating the big 1-7 today -- and by the looks of this cute pic snapped of her, probably wishing that American Idol David Cook was celebrating with her :)

J-14 is so psyched for a special one-hour episode of iCarly -- "iDate a Bad Boy," which airs this Saturday, May 9 at 8 p.m. -- that we had to talk to Miranda about it! We have behind the scenes deets, from Miranda's first on-screen kiss to her favorite part of the episode and more!
J-14: What was your favorite part about filming "iDate a Bad Boy?" Miranda: I found out my character was going to have a boyfriend for the first time, and I was really excited and freaking out. They had guys come in and audition and when they got it down to five boys, I got to go to the last call. I went in to meet them, and when the guy who got the part, Drew Roy, came in, I was just like, "Oh my gosh!" The ladies in the room were freaking out because he's really cute -- the casting director was holding her heart. He was super-cute and really nice. We had a great time on set. He's really sweet and it was my first time having to kiss anyone on the show, so I was nervous about it. He was a good person to pick.
J-14: What was your first big on-screen kiss like? Miranda: I was definitely nervous at first, but I hung out with Drew and played video games on set which made it a lot better because I got to know him. We played Rock Band. I love Rock Band! My favorite part is the drums.
J-14: Was Drew anything like his character in real life? Miranda: He did wear leather jackets and seem bad boyish. I'm not sure if he actually rides a motorcycle though.
J-14: Have you ever dated a bad boy in real life? Miranda: I wish! I think girls always go for the bad boy. It's cool because in this special it turns out he really isn't as bad as Carly thinks. He has this embarrassing secret. It's funny, because Carly goes for him in the first place because she's really sweet and always gets good grades and does the right thing, so it was cool for her to branch out and go for someone a little wild -- but then she finds out he's not so wild after all!
Earth Day is today, and the cast of iCarly recently shot a special "go green" episode that airs tonight. How cool! In the episode, Carly and the rest of the crew learn how easy it is to go green while doing a class project. Catch the episode tonight at 8 on Nickelodeon!
Nathan Kress recorded this special message for J-14ers! Nathan tells fans what he does everyday to go green! Watch below!
Check out this awesome vid that Miranda Cosgrove & Keke Palmer just sent exclusively to J-14! The girls are each in their own trailers, talking through video chat! Wanna know what they think about the Kids' Choice Awards and the brand new eps of their shows, iCarly and True Jackson, VP? Listen in!
Don't forget to tune in to back-to-back iCarly & True Jackson episodes on Nick from 6 - 7 pm all this week.
"HAPPY FREDRUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you heard that YouTube sensation FRED (Lucas Cruikshank!!!!) is gonna be on iCarly?! He'll be on iCarly on Fredruary (aka February) 16th! Watch it if ya can!!!!!!!!" Jennette wrote.
And the best part? J-14 was the only magazine on set the day Lucas filmed those episodes! Jennette told us exclusively that her favorite part of that day was just having Fred on set! "I'm a huge Fred fan," she exclaimed. "I swear I've seen all his videos like a billion times. So just to have him on has been awesome, and he's so nice. It's been super fun!"
We're so glad the iCarly episode we got to see firsthand is finally airing!
Are you excited to watch the show on Monday, February 16? Let us know!
iCarly co-star Jennette McCurdy is working on her debut album! "I'm actually working on my first CD," she spills. "I'm working with really great songwriters, and being able to get in a studio and sing and help write some of the songs has been an awesome experience." Jennette hopes to release her first single in 2009.
