Justin Bieber is one of a slew of performers who will be guest starring in Nickelodeon's upcoming hour-long TV movie, School Gyrls. The comedy marks TeenNick chairman Nick Cannon's directorial debut!

Real-life pop group School Gyrls -- Monica Parales, Jacque Nimble and Mandy Rain -- star in the flick as three freshman at Summerdale Academy, an exclusive all-girls boarding school, who come together to battle it out against the reigning Teen Island stunt party champ and resident mean girls, the sophomore cheerleaders. Cannon, Kristinia DeBarge, Reverend Run, Soulja Boy, Angie Stone and Pete Wentz also make cameos in the movie.

School Gyrls premieres on Sunday, February 21, at 7 pm ET/PT on TeenNick.

Kristinia DeBarge is not only J-14's intern, she's the new face of Wet Seal! The "Goodbye" singer has been busy doing meet and greets at Wet Seal stores across the country and has already started recording her second album! J-14 chatted with Kristinia and got the scoop on her Wet Seal campaign, Justin Bieber, and Britney Spears!

J-14: Can you tell us about the Wet Seal campaign?
Kristinia DeBarge: It's so bizarre because this time last year, I was working at Forever 21 and a Cuban restaurant! I remember going into Wet Seal and seeing a huge poster of Jordin Sparks and thinking, 'That is so cool. I hope that's me one day.' A year later, I'm the new face of a Wet Seal campaign! It's surreal to me.

J-14: Do you have a favorite outfit from the campaign photo shoots?
Kristinia: My first outfit was this checkered shirt, ripped-up jeans with cowboy boots, a warm off-white sweater vest, and a cute little winter hat. When I'm not working, I'm at home dressed like a regular 19-year-old college girl. I'll be wearing an Abercrombie and Fitch skirt, a button-up shirt, and boots or leggings, a cute tank top, and a jean jacket. When I'm working, I like to be more creative and push the limit with my style.

J-14: Do you want to have your own clothing line?
Kristinia: That's something I'm definitely working towards. I'm so fortunate that I'm even coming out with clothes with Wet Seal! I had a lot of creative control and freedom. I made sure that all the clothes I'm wearing are very true to me and also stuff that girls can wear and feel comfortable in.

J-14: What's your favorite track off your debut album, Exposed?
Kristinia: My favorite track off the whole album changes everyday. Some days it's "Died in Your Eyes," some days it's "Speak Up." It depends on my mood, what I'm going through that day, and what I feel like listening to. I love all my songs. I'm so happy and content with this album, which is important since it's my first album. It's so personal to me, and I want to make sure that everybody understands that these are life experiences that I have gone through.

J-14: How did your family react to the success of "Goodbye" and the album coming out?
Kristinia: They are the most excited family in the world. My family has always been supportive, and their belief and drive made me even more confident and driven in myself. I'm one of those people who loves to work, but I definitely love being with my family. I don't want to ever forget who I am and get caught up in all of that.

J-14: What was it like to interview Justin Bieber as our J-14 intern?
Kristinia:The other day I looked on YouTube and I'm like, 'Wow, it has so many views already!' That's really cool and a great thing for us. I'm really happy for Justin. It's so cute seeing the little girls going crazy over him and screaming. He's really young and a lot of this he's just getting used to - it's awesome for him. Every time I see him he's so full of joy and excited -- I've never seen a kid so happy! He deserves everything that's coming his way.

J-14: Did Britney Spears give you any advice when you opened for her on her Circus tour?
Kristinia: She definitely made sure she introduced herself to me and she said hello. She said, "My babies love your song," and gave me a hug. I know that sometimes you never even meet [the headliner performer] -- you go, perform, and that's it. I was thankful that I even got to meet her. She's really nice!

Hey Guys, its me Kristinia DeBarge :-)

Recently I visited the set of Nick Cannon's new movie School Gyrls where I got the chance to sit down with the stars -- the School Gyrls themselves! Jackie, Mandy and Monica were so beautiful and fun, I had a great time getting to know them.

The girls are only 15, 15, and 16--which makes their talent even more impressive due to their young age. They had tons of energy and personality, and are sooooo talented!

I found out that I had something in common with the School Gyrls: We have all been home-schooled! Being home-schooled is a lot more challenging than people thing, and its lots of hard work!

The School Gyrls are really excited about recording their music and continuing to do great things in entertainment. I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to meet them, and I'll be keeping an eye on their progress :-)

School is just around the corner -- what trend are you going to be rocking this year? Are the School Gyrls someone you want to see more of in J-14?

Hey Guys, its your girl Kristinia DeBarge! Recently I had the amazing opportunity to do a guest performance at Nick Cannon's film "School Gyrls."

Nick was nice enough to sit down with me to talk about the film and the creativity behind it. He told me that he met the three young ladies and was inspired to create a movie around them. Nick's movie is filled with celebrity cameos like DJ D-Wreck, Jackie Long, Rev Run, Diggy, Vanessa Simmons, Angie Stone, Soulja Boy, and my label-mate Justin Beiber. I met all of these people on the set and they were very cool!

He also talked to me about his new gig hosting "America's Got Talent." He said that there's a great mix of talented people and crazy people on the show, and that he's having a blast!

I asked Nick what he enjoys most: Being in front of the camera, or being behind it. He told me that being in front of the camera is a lot easier than being behind it. He said that when he's behind the camera, there is more pressure and responsibility. Still, he says that he likes both roles.

I love Nick Cannon for his progression from being a teen-star to becoming a great executive. He's an inspiration to me, and I'm so happy for him!

If you could be in any movie, what movie would you love to make a cameo in?

Hey my lovely J-14ers!
Kristinia DeBarge, here! I'm kind of in the mood for some girl talk today, so let's dish about everyone's fave subject: SHOPPING! You all know I'm a California girl, so naturally I just LOVE anything that screams "SUMMER!" Right now my favorite fashions for summer are shorts. I love jean shorts or a pair in pink or black! I know it's a scary trend, but I'm into high waisted styles right now too. I really love shorts in the summer because anyone can wear them -- whether you're three or a 39!

I'm also a huge jewelry girl -- I LOVE bangles! (Funny story! When I stopped by J-14, we were talking accessories and I realized I had left mine all in the car -- whoops!) So bangles are my thing. I also love long chain necklaces and fun earrings this season. There's are these really cute earrings that I'm obsessed with: they're the Betsy Johnson earrings that I'm wearing in my video. They're gold with a hot pink bow -- they're my favorite earrings right now!

And of course, when I get a free minute, I like to spend it shopping with my friends. One of my fave stores (and brands) is Free People. (Not very many people know about Free People, so shh! You'll be the only gal in school rocking it! And, bonus, you can often find Free People at discount stores, like Filene's Basement or Loehmann's.) I also really like H&M and Forever 21. As far as shoes go, I'm obsessed with Steve Madden (who isn't?!?) There's a similar brand if you like Steve like I do: Seychelles. They have great heels and sandals!

Kristinia DeBarge here! When I came to the J-14 offices for my first official day as their summer intern, I was chatting with one of the editors Lisa about my fave beauty brands (more on that later, but you can read about the beauty trends that I'm into this summer here! Oo! And the pic above is of me in the J-14 beauty closet -- yeah, that's right, girls, there's a whole WALK-IN CLOSET full of makeup and hair products in the office! Heaven, right?)

Anyways, I couldn't remember the name of the product and apologized for pronouncing it wrong. "Um, aren't people always butchering your name," Lisa interrupted me. "I think it's fair if you butcher someone else's for a change!" Yeeeah! You're right, I thought. Come on people, say it with me: Kris. Ti. Neé. A. Kristinia! Everyone says my name wrong aaaalllll the time! I think the funniest is Kristinira -- like, someone decided my name was so difficult they had to add extra letters onto it to make it even harder!

When I first got signed and was working on my album, the record company wanted me to change my name. L.A. Reid (my boss, a big time music guy who has worked with Pink, Usher, and Ciara!) wanted me to change it, but was like, "you're living with it for the rest of your career, so it has to be what you want." He really loved my middle name Jamie and thought it would totally work as my name, but I couldn't do it! I was like, "Kristinia! That's who I am, that's who I've grown up to be and I'm not gonna change my name!" So I fought for it, and I'm really happy I did. I think Kristinia fits - don't you? :) Has anyone ever asked YOU to change something about yourself? What did you do, did you change or did you stay true to yourself?

Hey there, J-14ers!
J-14 summer intern, Kristinia here, and, WOW, has it been a busy summer for me so far! My first big TV spot was performing my first single "Goodbye" on So You Think You Can Dance a couple weeks ago -- SO cool!!

Since I'm all about fun in the sun, (I'm a Cali girl, after all!) I thought it would be the perf time to spill my fave beauty trend to you guys! Ready for it? I LOVE neon! When it comes to makeup and nail polish, I'm going to do neon and throw in some Miami Beach colors for the rest of the summer, like, just experiment with it and have fun! When I stopped by the J-14 offices to interview cutie Justin Bieber, I had a bright neon pink mani (you can spot it in the pic above!)

My favorite look for summer is low key: a really pretty, bright eye shadow with a bare face and some mascara. When it comes to lip gloss, I'm really into orange-pink shades. For eye shadow, I really like pretty greens and purples -- colors that stand out on your skin! And when it comes to the best hairstyle for the summer, I'm all about a cute ponytail. Before I go, I have great news to share! I found out that I'm going to be touring with the one and only Britney Spears for the second leg of her North American Circus tour! J-14's summer intern Kristinia DeBarge here with the dish on celeb crushes! My lips are sealed for now - there are definitely guys that I think are attractive... but I have to get to know someone before I really crush on them! I'm totally the "have-to-get-to-know-you" type of gal.

I've never been one to be like, "oh, I would totally be with him if he asked me out!" I don't care how cute you are - you could be like the cutest, the coolest thing since sliced bread but, I don't know, I'm just really picky! For me? It's more about personality! I definitely have to be attracted to you, but if you have a conceited type of personality or you know you're cute or you're just too pretty (you know what I'm talking about, girls: guy who get their eyebrows waxed?! Too weird! I get my eyebrows waxed, so I don't want to date a guy who has the same beauty routine as I do!) Or if you're the type of guy carrying gel around - that's too much for me.

My type of guy is a man's man - celebrity or not! I like guys to be kinda grungy. Like, if you're cute and a little grungy and you're handsome, then I'm down for that! I may not have celebrity crushes now, but I def did when I was younger! I used to really like Shane West, the cutie in A Walk to Remember. (Have you guys seen that movie? It'll make you cry for sure!) I used to like him a lot when I was like 13 or 14 because I was obsessed with A Walk to Remember. It's still one of my favorite movies to this day, but he's not my type anymore. I have a completely different type now!

It's your Adam-loving-and-repping editor Lisa here to share something really cool with you. You've read on our site about how the super sweet Kristinia DeBarge (who sings "Goodbye") is J-14's virtual intern this summer, and she recently stopped by to interview her labelmate Justin Bieber (action shot above). You can watch the first part of her chat with him here.

So here's the backstage scoop: while we were all hanging out, the two were humming and casually breaking into song so I suggested they do a duet for you guys. Now, I had never heard Justin before (I know, I know - crazy! A lot of you have been fans of his since before he was signed!) and I think my jaw dropped when I heard them harmonize together! Watch this video of them singing an acoustic (and AMAZING) version of Rihanna at the J-14 office:

Can you believe that that was the first time they had ever met?! I was really impressed. Most people sound good on the radio, but it takes serious talent to belt like that out of the blue!

This also brings up my sincere LOVE for great covers of songs! I want to know, my fellow music fans: what are your favorite covers (acoustic or not) of songs? Let me know below, and I - and my iPod - will thank you :)

Her first task was to interview the uber talented Justin Bieber, a YouTube superstar!

Hey J-14ers!

It's Katie -- I'm one of the interns here at J-14! Yesterday was my first day and I got to meet my one of my fellow summer interns, Kristinia DeBarge! Yup, as in the singer behind the hit song, "Goodbye." She's going to be a virtual J-14 intern for the summer with me!

She was so sweet and she even sang for us and blew everyone away! I got a sneak peek of her music video for "Goodbye," which was totally rockin' and made me love the song even more! (P.S. If you haven't heard "Goodbye" yet, you need to download it right now!)

She said that most of the people in her video were her friends and two of the girls dancing with her were her cousins! The video will be coming out soon so make sure you keep an eye out for it and check it out! Kristinia also told us that she is friends with Keke Palmer and she was so excited when she saw Keke in J-14!

Singer Justin Bieber also stopped by and Kristinia's first task as the J-14 intern was to interview him! She did great and he was so funny! Kristinia brought some copies of her CD along with her and Justin asked her if it was free! She was such a sweetheart and signed if for him!
