After months of working together -- and hanging out together -- on The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Vancouver and Italy, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart finally went their separate ways yesterday.

They hung out together one last time in Los Angeles on Sunday night, after both won big honors at the MTV Movie Awards, and then Monday afternoon, Rob hopped on a plane from LAX to New York City's JFK airport.

On their last night, the costars/friends went to to the Italian restaurant, Cecconi's, in West Hollywood, and then headed back to The Charlie Hotel (also in WeHo), with police escorts in tow.

Rob will spend the summer in New York working on another Summit Entertainment film, Remember Me, due out next Valentine's Day weekend.

The two will reunite in Vancouver this October for the filming of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

The Taylena Saga continues! At yesterday's MTV Movie Awards, when asked what is going on with Selena, Taylor said this: "She's a great girl. A great friend. I hope I'm not breaking their (the fans) hearts. She's a great girl." Check out the video here:

Last night Twilight swept the MTV Movie Awards winning in five categories: Best Movie, Best Kiss, Best Fight, Best Female Performance (Kristen), Best Breakthrough Male (Rob won and Taylor was nominated). Not only did the stars take home the majority of the awards they were up for, but Kristen, Rob, and Taylor were there to present the trailer for New Moon.

High School Musical: 3 also took home a couple awards, Ashley for Breakthrough Performance Female (over Vanessa who was also nominated), and Zac for Best Male Performance. Miley was up for two awards: Breakthrough Performance Female and Best Song From a Movie. After losing the first to Ashley, she won the second award for "The Climb" from Hannah Montana: The Movie! J-14 just found out that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will be showing the first sneak peak from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at this year's show! Megan Fox will also be there to unveil a never-before-seen clip of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Let the countdown begin! Just announced... the first exclusive clip from The Twilight Saga: New Moon will debut on the 2009 MTV Movie Awards live on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. ET.

And who better to present it than Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner themselves! Yup, all three will be in attendance at the show.

Who else will be at the MTV Movie Awards this year? Vanessa Hudgens, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Abigail Breslin, Sandra Bullock, Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, Leighton Meester, Jonah Hill, Lil Wayne, and Kings of Leon. Sounds like a star-studded celebration!

MTV announced the nominations for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and Twilight has the most nominations including Best Kiss, Best Movie, and Best Breakthrough Performance Male for Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Other nominations include Zac Efron in HSM 3 for Best Performance Male, Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana: The Movie for Best Breakthrough Performance Female, and Slumdog Millionaire for Best Movie. There's also two new categories: Best Song from a Movie and Best WTF Moment.

From now until May 27, you can vote for your faves on MovieAwards.MTV.com. The awards will be hosted by SNL's Andy Samberg on Sunday, May 31 at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT on MTV.
