Tonight is Hollywood's golden night -- the Golden Globe Awards that is! And The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Taylor Lautner is just one of the many stars that will be presenting tonight, when the show starts on NBC live at 5 to 8 p.m. PT, 8 to 11 p.m. ET.
And some favorites up for awards tonight are Twilight star Anna Kendrick, who also stars in Up in the Air with George Clooney nominated for best supporting actress in a supporting role in a motion picture, Glee for best comedy or musical TV show, Glee's Lea Michele for best actress in a comedy or musical TV show, and How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris for best supporting actor in a TV series.
Friends may live on in reruns, but ever since the show went off the air, I've been in search of my new sitcom obsession... until I met How I Met Your Mother.
The Monday night CBS show has the same LOL humor about the kind of friends you hope you'll have after college... but with a romantic mystery underlining it since the show is actually from the point of view of Ted (Josh Radnor) talking in the future (voiced by Bob Saget) to his kids (Lyndsy Fonseca and Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie... yup, he's on two shows now!) about how he met their mother.
And the show is celebrating its 100th episode this Monday, January 11, with an all-new episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT that drops some serious hints about who the mother might be when Ted meets a new girl played by The O.C.'s Rachel Bilson.
But that's not all that makes this episode special. Barney (soon-to-be American Idol guest judge Neil Patrick Harris), who's basic character trait is that he thinks he's awesome -- ha!, has to decide between a girl played by Stacey Keibler (who's totally dekked out with Taylor Swift style in this episode!) and his favorite fashion statement -- suits.
The decision sends him on a musical number, "Girls Vs. Suits," that totally rivals High School Musical's "Stick to the Status Quo." With hilarious lines from all the cast members -- Marshall (funny guy Jason Segal from Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Lily (Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Alyson Hannigan), and Robin (Colbie Smulders -- whose Robin Sparkles videos you must see online!) -- and a crazy but catchy tune, this song will be running through your head as much as Taylor Swift's SNL "Monologue Song."
I was lucky enough to watch the episode already and -- and trust me, this is one half-hour of television that in the words of Barney is, legend -- wait for it! -- ary!
Check out this clip from the musical number:
Check it out on Monday night and let me know what you think!
Can't wait to hear from you,

Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Shania Twain, Neil Patrick Harris, and Victoria Beckham (pictured above) have all taken a turn as the fourth judge during the auditions for the ninth season of American Idol... but the permanent fourth judge has just been announced.
Joining Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi at the judges' table all season long will be.... drumroll please... Ellen DeGeneres!
Ellen's reaction? "I'm thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol," she said. "I've watched since the beginning, and I've always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I'll save from not having to text in my vote."
Ha! Said true Ellen style!
What do you think about the addition of Ellen to the American Idol judge's panel?
Fun facts about David:
- David is also on the funny CBS sitcom, How I Met Your Mother. He plays the future son of Ted Moseby... but we don't know who the mother is yet! "Hanging on the set with the actors Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Jason Segel on a show that took off to be a big hit is very cool!" David says.
- He also has a production company called YUTE Productions. " I work with many talented film makers and writers to produce Y-Gen content."
- David had a recurring role on That's So Raven as Larry. "It was the first show that I'd done that actually appealed to people my age!"
