It was just announced that Selena Gomez is set to star in a new movie called What Boys Want! The comedy is about a girl, played by Selena, who can hear what boys are thinking.

But you won't have to wait until What Boys Want to see Selena on the big screen. Her movie, Ramona and Beezus, hit theaters on March 19, 2010! (Remember while filming the movie in Vancouver this past spring, she was caught hanging out with her good friend, and rumored love interest at the time, Taylor Lautner!)

Just call Selena Gomez a triple threat! She's got acting and singing under belt, and now the Disney starlet is following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus and Hilary Duff -- she's now a fashion designer, too!

Selena's all about going green, so it's no surprised the line that she's co-designing will be eco-friendly and boho-chic. Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez will be full of dresses, floral-print tops, jackets, jeans, skirts, and accessories, and should hit stores next fall. That's right -- not 'til 2010! That's some wait!

"Growing up in Texas, I was sort of close-minded and kind of a tomboy, but as I've traveled, I found such a love of clothes," Selena says. "It's really always been a dream of mine to have a line."

Selena says the fabrics will be "eco-friendly and organic," and all of the pieces will be "easy to dress up or down," plus they'll have some very important words on them. "The tags will all have some of my inspirational quotes on them," Selena explains. "I'm just looking to send a good message."

Can't wait to see what Selena's clothes look like -- and say!

During Selena Gomez and The Scene's recent video chat, a fan asked Selena what she thought of Push Play because Selena's album, Kiss & Tell, and Push Play's new album, Found, both come out next Tuesday, September 29! Selena said that she thought the guys were "really nice!" (We agree, Sel!)

Push Play stopped by our office today and they had a message for Selena:

The series follows Sel's musical journey -- in the first episode, Selena is showing us the very first step in the process, signing her contract with Hollywood Records.

Two of your fave stars were big winners at the 2009 ALMA Awards in Los Angeles. David Archuleta took home the Year in Music's Rising Male Star award, while Selena Gomez nabbed a statue for the Year in Television Comedy Actress award. Selena had some big name competition, including America Ferrera and Salma Hayek, and she was definitely psyched about her big win.

It's been a big week for Selena -- last weekend, Wizards of Waverly Place won an Emmy for Outstanding Children's Program!

Selena Gomez is hoping to change the world by reaching out to kids in need. The Wizards of Waverly Place star was appointed UNICEF Ambassador last week -- and is now in Ghana to meet with the children there.

"Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes," Selena said. "I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment, UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the lifesaving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality."

Not just that, Selena is the youngest UNICEF Ambassador ever -- you go girl!

Get ready for two awesome pieces of Paramore news today! First, Paramore is hitting the road this fall in support of their new album, brand new eyes, which drops September 29. Does that date sound familiar? It should! Selena Gomez's debut CD, Kiss & Tell, comes out that day, too! Talk about a weird coincidence -- Selena told J-14 that she loves Paramore, especially because lead singer Hayley Williams is "someone I look up to."

And the music video for the first single off Paramore's new album just premiered on MTV today! The tune is called Ignorance, and J-14's got the vid for you below.

Hopefully Selena -- and you! -- will get to catch Paramore on their North American headlining tour! Check out their tour dates after the jump.
