Beyonce's kept pretty quiet about the whole Taylor Swift/Kanye WestVMA debacle -- until now! The singer finally sounded off on why Kanye did it and what was running through her mind when it happened...
"He told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyonce spilled. She had no idea what he was going to do if she didn't though! "When they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked," Beyonce explained. "When he walked on stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'"
Miley Cyrus was a guest on The Jay Leno Show today as part of Jay's new segment, "10@10" where he asks a celeb 10 random questions, wherever they might be in the world.
Miley was sitting in the stadium as the crew was setting up the stage for her big concert tonight while she answered Jay's quick-fire questions. She said that she loves putting ketchup on pizza, that her favorite Jonas Brother is Frankie (eeks -- this aired on Nick's birthday!), that she thought what Kanye West did to Taylor Swift at the VMAs was "rude" and "disrespectful"... and that her nickname is "Spider Monkey!"
"Spider Monkey"? As in a reference to what Rob Pattinson's Edward Cullen calls Bella Swan in the Twilight movie (not book)!

J-14 chatted with Corbin Bleu exclusively at In Touch Weekly's Icons + Idols MTV VMAs after-party about his new show on The CW, The Beautiful Life, premiering tonight!
J-14 loves Taylor Swift -- and we know you do too! Despite what happened at the MTV VMAs, she's still standing strong... but let's show her exactly how much we care by singing J-14's virtual greeting card by posting our messages to her below. We'll collect them all and send them over to Taylor!

Woah -- the VMAs are known for their craziness, but last night's incident was out of control! From the moment it happened, everyone's been buzzing about when Kanye West hopped on stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video and said that Beyonce's "Single Ladies" should have got the award!
Moments after The Twilight Saga: New Moon's Taylor Launter announced that Taylor's "You Belong To Me" won, Kanye stormed the stage and said, "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'm going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!"
Taylor S. was so shocked -- and the screen quickly went to a break. Right away, celeb like Paramore's Hayley Williams took to their Twitters started supporting Team Taylor!
But later on when Beyonce won for Video of the Year, she called Taylor out on stage and told her to have her moment! Awwww!
After the show, Kanye apologized on his blog to Taylor on his blog... here's what it says:

Taylor Swift sparkled as she glided down the red carpet at the MTV VMAs tonight in a sparkly silver dress. She didn't have time to stop and chat before her big night, but Taylor always makes time for J-14 as you'll see! (Awww... that's just one of the many reasons we love her!)

As we inch closer to the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on November 20, MTV will be debuting a new exclusive preview of the film during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
During the show, MTV will air an expanded trailer from the movie... plus the film's stars Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, and Rob Pattinson will all be making appearances.
And not just that -- fans will also get a first listen to the New Moonsoundtrack with mtv.com reveiling the lead single off the soundtrack (available October 20) from Death Cab for Cutie, called "Meet Me on the Equinox."
Tomorrow night is the MuchMusic Video Awards -- it's the Canadian version of the MTV Video Music Awards -- and J-14 will be front and center for all the action!
We got to spend the whole day today backstage at the On 3 Productions Gift Lounge and saw Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, the Black Eyed Peas, and Canadian band Rise Against rehearse their performances. Even though it's a rainy day in Toronto, it didn't stop everyone from giving it their all -- even though it was only rehearsal! You know that means tomorrow they're going to bring their A Game!
J-14 will be Twittering live from the red carpet and backstage all day tomorrow! We're not going to give anything away -- but we might be hanging out with a vampire and a werewolf! ;-) So make sure to follow us on Twitter @J14magazine.
The MMVAs takes place tomorrow night at 9 pm ET on MuchMusic -- red carpet special at 8 pm. And no worries all you non-Canadians, the MMVAs will be on TV Guide Network in the US on June 27 at 8 pm ET/PT.

In a recent interview, Joe was asked if he had a message for Russell after his purity ring VMA comment, and what did the Jonas Brother say? "I'd give him a hug," Joe said. "I think he needs a hug." LOL--leave it to Joe to make a joke about everything! Kevin also added that meeting Britney spears was incredible. "It was an honor to loose to her."
Jordin Sparks defended her response to Russell Brand's purity ring comments about the Jonas Brothers during the Sunday night VMAs.
"It's something I feel strongly about, but I wish I worded it differently," the American Idol said. "That somebody who doesn't wear a promise ring isn't necessarily a slut, but I can't take it back now." Jordin continued, "It was a split-second thing, and it came out kind of wrong." She also said that she doesn't regret making the comment and has nothing against Russell Brand.

On Thursday, J-14 visited the set of Wizards Of Waverly Place. It was rehearsal day, so the cast was busy learning a new script and practicing lines. But we did manage to sit down with Selena Gomez, Jennifer Stone and Jake T. Austin, plus we saw all the sets from the Waverly Sub Station to the Tribeca Prep hallway! How cool is that? Look for the 411 in our December issue.
The next day Jennifer Stone from Wizards visited our offices near NYC. (Yes, one of our editors just saw her Thursday in LA--crazy, huh?).
The same day Emily crashed iCarly, where she got to hang out and have lunch with the cast. Nathan tried to help us decode guys, Miranda chatted with us about dating and Jeanette gave J-14 a tour of her loft. Check out the video from Jennette behind-the-scenes!

On Sunday, J-14 had an all access pass to the MTV VMAs, where we interviewed Hayley Williams of Paramore, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato, Brody Jenner, the cast of Nickelodeon's Spectacular and more! Emily lucked out and got a total hot spot on the red carpet, and got to check out Taylor Swift, Panic at the Disco, Zac Efron, Shwayze, Superbad's Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Twilight's Robert Patterson, the Pussycat Dolls, Danity Kane and The Hills' Heidi and Spencer.
A joke from comedian/host Russell Brand about the Jonas Brothers' purity rings enraged fans and celebrities like Jordin Sparks and Paris Hilton at this year's VMAs. As Jordin announced T.I.'s performance, she stood up for Kevin, Nick and Joe's decision to wear the rings. "I just have one thing to say about promise rings," Jordin said. "It's not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody--guy or girl--wants to be a slut."
This just in! The country cutie got nominated for Best New Artist for "Teardrops On My Guitar." "I was so shocked," Taylor said when finding out about the nom. "I started screaming, 'I get to go to the VMAs!'" When Taylor was asked about her dating Joe Jonas, she replied, "He's an amazing guy, and anyone would be lucky to be dating him." Sound familiar? That's because it's what Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez said about dating each other on Ryan Seacrest's radio show last month. It was also what Joe replied when Ryan asked him about dating Taylor.
