OMG, girls. New Moon THIS WEEKEND! I can't believe it's finally here. The stars of the year's hottest movie were dressed to impress at the LA premiere last night. Let's discuss.

Miss Dakota Fanning opted for a short yet elegant strapless dress with some major platform heels. Her hair, makeup and accessories were really understated, showing off her dress and flawless skin. Kristen, the belle of the evening, went all out in a floor-length ball gown. She looks glam, but still totally at ease. I think both these girls rocked it!

Nikki Reed wasn't as dressy as the other girls. Her peasant-style dress was pretty simple, which made her heels really stand out. Do you think her understated look is a hit? The first thing I noticed when I looked at Christian Serratos wasn't her sparkly dress, it was her Barbie pink lips. She's not afraid to take a beauty risk! Christian was all about the metallics last night. I think she looks great!

Ashley Greene opted for a blood red gown. I think the draping around her shoulders totally makes the dress.

Everyone looked so good last night, it's hard to choose a style star, but there can only be one! Who wins best dressed?

Hey TWIST girls!

Was there something in the water on the New Moon set? Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren't the only NM cast members who've been feeling flirty recently!

Dakota Fanning, who plays evil Volturri vampire Jane, was spotted on a dinner date in Beverly Hills over the weekend with fellow cute actor Freddie Highmore! So, who's he? Freddie's starred in a bunch of movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Golden Compass and The Spiderwick Chronicles. You can also catch his vocal talents in the upcoming animated flick Astro Boy, hitting theatres in October. In fact, he was talking up his movie at Comic-Con, just like Dakota's cast mates, a few days before their date!

Hey TWIST girls!

The stars of New Moon landed in Italy last weekend to film the last few scenes of the flick! Kristen, Rob, Ashley and Dakota have all been spotted hanging out on and off set.

Wonder what it's like on set? An extra from the movie spilled all about it!

"The crew was very quick and organized, and divided all the extras into groups: 'the drivers,' 'the reds,' and 'the blacks.'" the extra revealed. "We felt like the prey of the production company. They then offered us breakfast, which I was grateful for since my stomach was complaining more than Rosalie. Me and all the other drivers (there were about a hundred of us), were then told to park in the front of the main entrance of the town, where a yellow Porsche was also parked! My God, what a beautiful car! The rest of the extras were taken inside the city wall, where they would be shooting the reunion between Edward and Bella later in the week." (Side note: the yellow Porsche belongs to Alice!)

UPDATE! Dakota touched down in Vancouver yesterday! The other Volturi actors arrived yesterday, too! They will film interior scenes in Canada, and will head to Italy in a few weeks to film exterior scenes. The actors will also be staying at the same hotel as Kristen Stewart and Selena Gomez, who is shooting Ramona and Beezus.

Hey TWIST girls!

We've got a New Moon casting update for ya! Just last week, TWIST reported that Dakota was pretty close to landing the role of Jane in the Twilight sequel! Well, now Dakota has confirmed it!

"I really hope it works out," she dished. "It would be a really fantastic experience, I'm sure."

Do you think she's a perfect match for Jane looks-wise? Dakota does! "I don't think they'll have to put a lot of makeup on me. I'm pretty white already!" she joked.

She adds, "I think it's too soon to tell if I'll for sure be doing it, but it's so great. I'm a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors in it, so it would be wonderful!" We're rooting for you, Dakota!

While it may be a little while longer for an official announcement that the role is hers, we can't wait to see if Dakota and Taylor hit it off behind-the-scenes! Future crushes? Count on TWIST to find out!

Hey TWIST girls!

Twilight's Kristen Stewart recently dished that she's mucho impressed with Taylor and how he's getting into character with his intense work outs! "He's really buff! He definitely is. It took him a lot of time," she spilled.

Aww! She also said she couldn't imagine anyone else taking the role of Jacob in the sequel, New Moon! "I'm so glad they didn't have to find somebody else -- we already had him!" she dished. "I didn't understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it's set, we can all rest!"

In other NM news, Dakota Fanning is reportedly up for the role of Jane, a member of Italy's Volturi! A source just spilled that Dakota's already in negotiations! "There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they're in negotiations. They've been going back and forth," the source reveals.
