The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters in just about 6 months, and we're already planning to see it at midnight! New reports today claim that the movie will also be released in IMAX on June 30. We can't even imagine seeing the gorgeous Edward on the gigantic 50-foot tall screen -- yowza!

Hey chicas!
With New Moon pulling in such huge numbers at the box office, we know the excitement is just beginning for the third movie in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse!
Meet Kirsten Prout, one of the new cast members for Eclipse. She steps into the role of Lucy, one of the vampires responsible for turning Jasper back in 1863!
"If you read the book, it's done in a very different way," Kirsten spills about Lucy and Jasper's interaction. "In the book, it's kind of a flashback. In the book, she's more of a vampire who...she was just kind of part of turning Jasper, whereas in the movie, it's kind of featured, and it's actually a scene, and Lucy is a lot more prominent in turning Jasper, so it's a bit different. But I can't tell you much."

Hey TWIST girls!
As we reported earlier today with this awesome New Moon clip, there's only one month until the flick hits theaters. But did ya know that there's only one week left of filming for the third flick in the Twilight Saga?
Over the weekend, Dr. Cullen, or Peter Facinelli tweeted that the cast and crew is "coming down the home stretch" before production ends in about seven days! We can't believe it! But unfortunately, we do have to wait until June 2010 to see the sure-to-be-hit.

Rob Pattinson has his pen and paper ready! In a recent interview, Rob admitted that he hopes to be featured on another soundtrack for the Twilight Saga -- it could even be for Eclipse!
"I don't know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it," R-Patz reveals. "Music is the other side of me, it's one of the things that complete me and I wouldn't want to leave it aside for anything in the world."

Hey TWIST girls!
With the third flick in The Twilight Saga fully underway, we all want to know how Eclipse will be different from the two before it! Besides having a new director, David Slade, Twilight actor Justin Chon (he plays Eric!) spilled that this movie make be turning to the dark side!
"[David, the director] He's done pretty dark films, so that's where I see [Eclipse] really gravitating toward -- more of a dark kind of moody film," Chon recently dished. "Just shooting the scenes that I'm in, the mood is definitely different."
What does he mean by that? Justin explains, "David is very set on how he wants this movie to be portrayed. It's a lot more refined and maybe not as loose as the last two --at least for us humans. I can only imagine what he's doing with everyone else!"
Same here, Justin! We all know about the intense fight training cast members have gone through!
But, one thing we've noticed during the filming of this flick is the lack of paparazzi images, which Justin says is credited to the amped-up security.
"Security has been increased a lot," he reveals. "They're a lot more protective...If Rob was to go out in public without anybody, I think it could be pretty dangerous." Yikes, we don't want our R-Pattz to be in danger!
"It takes him a lot more time to get in and out of places," Justin says. "But he doesn't get angry. He's handling things great." That's our Edward!

Robsten Update, TWIST girls! We are happy to hear our fave on & off-screen couple has had smooth sailing on the relationship seas! And the're even opening up about their feelings and showing more affection off-set, according to an Eclipse set source.
"Everyone who wasn't directly involved in the whole situation obviously speculated about what was going on between them, but lately it's become clear to anyone who works with them -- Rob and Kristen are very much together," the insider reveals.
So, how are the Twilight costars dealing with the new lovebirds coming out of hiding? Well, most are actually a little worried that Robsten won't last! But we'll continue to root for Rob and Kristen to avoid Splitsville!

Hey there, girls!
We all know The Twilight Saga is know for the powerful and beautiful love story between Edward and Bella, but we also love all the action the books and movies pack in! Now that the cast is up in Vancouver working on the third movie, we can't wait to see what they'll do with all the battles and fights that happen in Eclipse!
Jackson Rathbone, one of the Cullen vampires, opened up about his character's action scenes recently.
"There's a lot of cool scenes where Jasper trains the Cullen family on how to fight the newborns," Jackson spills. "He gets to train Emmett -- and Emmett is a born fighter -- so he's telling Emmett all these techniques, and Emmett thinks he could just beat Jasper [during their sparring]. Jasper ends up getting the best of him, because it's a war mentality, not just a street brawl. It's about thinking ahead; it's a chess game."
Sounds awesome, Jackson! Can't wait to see it!

Wowza, TWIST girls! We sure hope this happens! Rumors have been all over the internet this weekend after a new Twilight cast member mentioned the idea of a FIFTH movie in the Twilight Saga!
In a recent interview, Boo Boo Stewart talked about his role as the youngest wolfpack member Seth Clearwater. In regards to his role in the next movies, he says "I heard there's going to be three more movies -- Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and there should be one more."
OMT, YES PLEASE! We would LOVE five movies! But it gets us thinking about the story for the fifth movie. The current final book in the series, Breaking Dawn, could easily be split into two movies (just like Harry Potter!). OR author Stephenie Meyer could be working on new material for a fifth book!
Shortly after this story broke, Summit Entertainment released the following statement: "We appreciate our young actor's enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate. However, the fans should rest assured the we're working with Stephenie Meyer to bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen."

Wowza, TWIST girls! While on vacay in Greece with her BF this summer, Nikki Reed's laptop was stolen!
While flying to Vancouver last weekend, Nikki was overheard talking to R-Pattz about the sticky situation.
"I had so much fun in Greece this summer. I wish I had pictures to show you, but my laptop was stolen with everything on it," she spilled. "The police are trying to find it for me, but I doubt they will, which really sucks!"
And this wasn't the first time she's been robbed! Her fave guitar was snatched up by a thief recently, too! "I'm so bummed," she dished about the instrument. "I mean, I can get another one, but I really loved that one."
Let's hope nothing else she owns is taken while she's in Vancouver filming Eclipse!

Hey TWIST girls!
Rumors are flying today that Robsten was caught in a liplock at Saturday's Kings of Leon concert in Vancouver, Canada. Sources are spilling that there was tons of flirty behavior and small touches between the Twilight stars.
"They've decided to be more public about going out now," an insider reveals. "They're not boyfriend and girlfriend, but they've definitely hooked up!"
And that wasn't the only Robsten sighting! Robert and Kristen joined the Eclipse cast and crew at Miku, a Vancouver sushi restaurant, during the weekend. They were all celebrating the filming of the third movie, and Rob and Kristen were reportedly getting very close at dinner, too!

Dr. Carlisle Cullen (well, actually Peter Facinelli!) just tweeted that the cameras have officially started rolling on the Vancouver set of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse! Today marks the first day of a 10-12 week shoot. And TWIST has continued to be your #1 source on all the news surrounding this flick!

Casting news from the Vancouver set of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse keeps pouring in! Last week, we told you that Jack Huston was cast as Royce King II, Rosalie's fiancé from her human life.
Now, we're excited to spill that Catalina Sandino Moreno has been cast as Maria, the vampire who created Jasper (Jackson Rathbone)! This means that we're going to see the stories of Rosalie and Jasper's pasts on the big screen!

Hey girls!
TWIST is your #1 New Moon</a> source! And now we're starting to bring you all the deets surrounding the third segment in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse!
Pre-production has already started, and now we're getting the scoop straight from the cast! Dr. Carlisle Cullen, aka Peter Facinelli, spilled on the actors' work schedules so far.
"We start[ed] rehearsals [Tuesday]. We have two weeks of rehearsal and then a week of fight training," Peter dished.
As you may already know, the third book is filled with action, and it turns out the WHOLE cast will go through the fight training -- so cool!
"Eclipse has more action in it," he says. "And so I'm excited to get in there and have Carlisle roll his sleeves up a little bit and get into fight stuff."

Hey TWIST girls!
New Moon is still 107 days away (are ya'll counting down, too??), and TWIST already has Eclipse news to bring you! Stars Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed were all spotted at an LA airport yesterday -- their destination? Vancouver, Canada to start pre-production for the third Twilight flick! Whoo hoo!
Also spotted at the airport was newcomer Xavier Samuel, who will take on the role of Riley, a typical college student who becomes involved with Victoria's plot to kill Bella! The stars won't be in Canada for too long, as they have to head back to LA this weekend to go to the Teen Choice Awards!
Why are we so excited about Eclipse? 'Cause it will be released next summer! We'll only have to wait about 7 months to head to the theaters for more Vampire action!

Wowza, major Twilight shocker this morning! Evil vampire Victoria has been recast for Eclipse! Rachelle Leferve starred as Victoria in both Twilight and New Moon, but word is she couldn't clear her schedule to resume her role for Eclipse!
So, who's her replacement? It's Bryce Dallas Howard! Bryce is most recognizable from her roles in thrillers Lady in the Water and The Village and she's currently starring in Terminator Salvation.
The peeps over at Summit Entertainment, the studio in charge of The Twilight Saga, seem to be pretty excited about the switcheroo! "Rachelle brought 'Victoria' to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

We just received word that Twilight execs are currently casting for the third flick, Eclipse. Here are the roles reportedly up for grabs:
Riley: "A handsome, blond, clean-cut college boy who falls victim to vampire Victoria. The character is in his early to mid-20s and plays an integral role in Victoria's attempt to murder Bella Swan."
Leah Clearwater:"A female, tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues."
Seth Clearwater: "A tall, gangly limbed boy with a huge, happy grin. Fillmakers are looking for a Native American or Canadian Indian male."
