2010 is just around the corner! Before the clock strikes midnight on New Year's, we're taking a look back at the year in entertainment. First topic? The best movie of 2009!
Fantasy flicks, like Harry Potter and New Moon, were two of the most anticipated flicks of the year! But there were quite a few other movies that had us talking during the year. First, Miley Cyrus jumped back on the big screen with Hannah Montana: The Movie, while Zac stepped out of his HSM-shoes to rock it in 17 Again. What else dominated the silver screens this year? Animated flicks like Coraline, Up and Monsters vs. Aliens were huge hits!

Hey TWIST gals!
OMG! It's finally here! Harry Potter opened in theaters TODAY! And to celebrate we're bringing you one last scoop straight from the set!
While in London, TWIST chatted with the cast about their thoughts on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final book in the series. "I absolutely loved it!," Emma spills. "It made me cry a couple of times." Awww, us too!
Daniel agreed! "I thought it was brilliant. I just really got into," Daniel dished. "I was just really, really moved by it. And it is an odd thing because you suddenly think, 'That's what I'm possibly going to be doing in two to three years and after that, that will be it.' It's very, very strange."
So after today's release, we still have two very awesome HP movies to look forward to -- they're splitting the last book into two flicks! And Part One will be released November 19, 2010. We're already totally excited!

It's almost here, TWIST gals!
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits screens at MIDNIGHT! Until then, we've got more cast secrets from the HP set.
Did you know that between takes Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson played lots of ping pong? In fact, Emma's the champion! When Rupert lost to her, "It was the worst, he was quiet about it!" she dishes. "They're really competitive. I will always slightly win, I think they were quite taken aback."
Since Rupert had to stop playing Em at ping pong, he turned to other activities. "I've got a wicked dressing room," he brags. "It's really cool, I've got like a massive TV, DVDs, sofas, and I've got foosball tables. I had a pool table, but there's no room for that anymore, it takes up all the space."
Bonnie Wright also refused to play ping pong with her competitive cast mates. "It can be quite intense on set," she admits. So what did she do to pass time? "Sit and watch a movie or talk to Rupert."
Wow, it sounds like the cast had fun bonding on set! So TWIST girls, are you going to a midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince? If not, when do you plan to go see it?

Hey girls!
Harry Potter isn't the only wizard with a movie coming out soon! TWIST already showed you the trailer and brought you behind the scenes of Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. Now, we've got the full premiere deets!
Starting Monday, August 24, the show's main stars - Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone and David Henrie - will each get a night to introduce you to their favorite "Wand Picked" episodes. Tell TWIST - What's your fave Wizards episode?
Then, Friday, August 28 is Wizards day! This all-day marathon will feature the 16 "Wand Picked" episodes once more, followed by the Wizards: The Movie premiere at 8 pm!
Don't worry if you miss it, because Disney's airing a special version on Saturday night featuring behind-the-scenes footage about the film's special effects. On Sunday evening, the movie will air once more in an evening hosted by the Wizards cast! Sel and friends will even share sneak peeks at upcoming Wizards episodes.

Happy Monday, TWIST girls!
We can hardly contain our excitement, only two days left until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens nationwide! And of course, we've got more behind-the-scenes scoop from our visit to the film's London set!
Even though the Harry Potter cast members have spent so much of their lives filming, they still had to fit in time for school.
Rupert Grint admits that acting in the potions scenes was a bit like chemistry class. "I did most of my learning here," he spills. "You can't really do many practical experiments on set, so I quite enjoyed it, the stuff with Bunsen burners."
Emma Watson adds that setting aside school time during filming can be tricky. "It's quite hard, I get tired," she admits. "When you work more, you get more done than in school." While on set, Emma managed to make time for homework - her favorite subjects are English, geometry and art!
Bonnie Wright also loves English and art, just like Emma! "Now that I'm older, we can just focus on four subjects, and that's a lot easier," she shares.

We've heard what Rupert and Dan had to say about on-stage kissing and romance, but what are Emma's thoughts on it? "I think it's going to be quite awkward!" she spills to TWIST. "But, I was speaking to Dan and Bonnie, and after you do it a couple times, it gets quite boring so that's great!" But we're sure it won't be boring to watch!
Still, she's glad there's more romance in this HP movie. "I think it's brilliant especially as the films get darker. It's nice to have that kind of relief and I think J.K.'s very perceptive about people and boy-girl relationships."

Here's your Saturday Scoop:
In London, TWIST chatted with Jessie Cave -- she joined the cast to play Lavender Brown, Ron's GF! Being the new girl is usually so hard, but what would it be like to be the new girl on the HP set?
"I didn't really sleep the night before. It was really surreal, it's all quite disorienting," Jessie spilled to TWIST. Luckily, she had awesome castmates to help her adjust. "Emma is just really really sweet," Jessie dished. And what about Rupert and Dan? "Brilliant! So, so likeable!"
"It must be scary at times for Harry Potter newbies!" Rupert dished. "But the whole crew is really nice and sort of welcoming. I do try and be nice." LOL!

What's up, TWIST girls?
Today is July 10, which means we've only got five more days to wait until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits screens! So much anticipation!
Luckily, we've got more inside scoop to tide us over. When we visited the London set, Bonnie Wright (she plays Ginny Weasley) shared her freakiest stunt moment!
"I did one yesterday actually. Quidditch, quite a drastic thing. It was weird being so high up in the air, falling off of the broom. At Hogwarts it's natural, but in our world... You get used to it after a while." Yikes, scary!
So if Muggles could play Quidditch, would she want to practice the sport professionally? "I can do it, but not, I mean, I couldn't ever do that as a job! I can't get up sometimes! It's quite tiring."

Hey gals!
We're itching to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in just six days! Have you pre-ordered your tix yet for the July 15 release date?
Today's Tell-all Thursday, where we bring you more romance and smooching deets from Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint! Both leading boys told TWIST about their difficulties when filming love scenes.
Dan shyly admits that on-screen romance isn't always his fave. "I prefer dark stuff, to be honest," he spills. "The romance is fun and something people really enjoy to see. There's one scene where Rupert's had a love potion and he goes kind of loopy. That was a lot of fun to film because there is awareness as you're doing it that it will be a really popular moment that people will really go for. But I personally still like it where I'm in a cave and I'm close to death. It's a lot easier than romance!"
Rupert totes agrees that filming romantic scenes can get kinda tricky, but costar Jessie Cave, who plays Lavender, helped ease the awkwardness. "We didn't actually talk about the kiss until the day we did it, so it was quite nerve-wracking," he dishes to TWIST. "There was a room full of people and I was quite scared. There were a LOT of people there! I was embarrassed. Ron doesn't know really what to do so he's a little bit uncomfortable. But Jessie was really cool, so it was good."

Hey TWIST girls!
Only one more week of waiting until Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hits theatres! You can count on TWIST to continue bringing you behind-the-scenes secrets all week long!
Today, Emma Watson fills you in on similarities and differences between her and her character, Hermione.
Emma's going to start college in the fall, so she relates to Hermione's studious side. "I really enjoy school, I really enjoy learning, as she does too." Also like Hermione, Emma's "receptive and feminist and quite competitive." When we were on set in London, we confirmed that with her cast mates - she was the reigning ping pong champion!
The one trait Emma doesn't share with Hermione? Her fashion sense! "I used to get really upset about the clothes I had to wear," she dishes to us. "I never wanted them to dress me because I was terrified that everyone would think that I was like that in real life. I would say, 'I'm not like her! I'm really into fashion! I'm really not like this, trust me!' Now I have an instinct of what she would wear and I have a bit more fun with it now."
Whew! We can't wait to see how Emma infuses her style into Hermione's wardrobe in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Tell TWIST - do you prefer Hermione's comfy casual style or Emma's glam red carpet dresses?

Today was the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London, so we're even more excited to be just about one week away from the seeing the flick on the big screen! TWIST is back to bring you more set scoop from our trip to London to see the flick being filmed!
Here's your Tuesday tidbit:
When we had a chance to chat with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, we wanted to hear about his relationship with costars and on-screen besties Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
"We've been together seven years now in this sort of trio in these films," Daniel spills to us. "And there are moments in those seven years where people get on each other's nerves and so there are occasional moments where we get a bit like, 'AHHH!' But it's never like a big tantrum or a fight or an argument or anything like that. It's just moments where there's a lot of frustration. But most of the time it's just great and we have a laugh and just get on with it. It's weird because we don't really see each other outside of filming particularly, but when we're here it's like no time has really passed. Then, actually the other day we found a picture of Emma from the first film! And it was just bizarre. It was really, really strange because we sort of forget how young we all were! It's very, very odd!"

In the latest Potter flick, Ginny isn't the only Weasley who is getting closer to someone! There's def a budding relationship along with a complicated love triangle between Ron, Lavender and Hermione! Drama!
"Hermione is beginning to come to terms with the fact that she might possibly have feelings for Ron," Emma Watson spills. So while Hermione is getting totally jealous of Ron's newly taken status, Ron's busy smoochin' his new GF! Jessie Cave, who plays Lavender, spilled exclusively to TWIST that it took about 20 takes to film Ron and Lavender's lip-locking scene. Wowza!

One thing we are so excited to see in the new movie is the return of Quidditch! "It's tougher and rougher than Quidditch has ever been before!" HP Producer David Barron revealed. "But also a lot of fun!"
Even the uniforms got a makeover, adding shoulder pads and back protection! "The game is more dangerous, they need new protection," the costume designer dished.

Just recently Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe gave the dish on how Harry's grown up in the last six movies! "You get a greater insight into Harry's sense of humor, and I think the sixth, generally, is a lot funnier!" Daniel spilled.
Costar Emma Watson agrees! "This one will be more comic!" she tells us. "The last one was sort of darker and heavier, this one will be a lot funnier and light-hearted"
