Kids' Choice Awards

Hey Girls!

We aren't big fans of slime, but when the Kid's Choice Awards mixes it with our favorite celebrities, we are so there! In case you missed it, TWIST has the story on all the winners, slimiest moments and awesome performance. Check it out (and click Read More for a list of winners)!

Miranda Cosgrove ruled the night by debuting her new single, "Kissin' You" and taking home an orange blimp for Best TV Show with her iCarly co-stars Jennette McCurdy, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress.

Taylor Swift won two blimps, one for her song "You Belong With Me" and one for Best Female Singer. Go Taylor!

Jacob and Bella from Twilight won for Cutest Couple. We were hoping for a tie with Edward and Bella... we love them both so much.

Justin Bieber melted our hearts yet again with his performance of "Baby" and Rhianna was absolutely amazing when she sang a combination of her hits.

Hey TWIST Girls!

OMG! In case you missed it the other night, check out this video of Katy Perry being slimed in the face at the Kid's Choice Awards! When she went to open the box that would reveal the Favorite Movie Actress winner, Katy was surprised when green slime sprayed her from head to toe. It may go down as the funniest sliming in KCA history!

The singer took it so well. She laughed it off and then gave Jonah Hill a big slimy hug.

In other KCA news, TWIST can confirm that Justin Bieber and Rihanna will both take the stage to perform at the award show. It's going to be such a great night, and you can bet TWIST will be there reporting all the major news!

Hey TWIST girls!

The Kids Choice Awards are just about a month away, and TWIST is the first to bring you the list of nominees (after the jump)! Voting doesn't start for another week (Feb. 25!), but you can read all about the nominees here. And be sure to tune into the awards show at 8 pm, March 27 on Nickelodeon!

So, what got the most nominations? The Twilight Saga: New Moon, of course! The movie and it's stars are nominated for Favorite Movie, Favorite Book, Favorite Movie Actor (Taylor Lautner) and Cutest Couple (Rob Pattinson/Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner/Kristen Stewart).

Hey TWIST girls,
Personally, my fave part of Saturday night's KCA's was Miley's acceptance speech for Fave Female Singer (you can watch it at the 2:50 mark of the vid above!). She was so touched by all of YOU who voted, and the sweetest tears welled up in her eyes during her speech! But since some peeps accused Miley of being fake and crying just to get attention, MTV News got Miley to set the record straight on why she was moved to tears.

MILEY SPILLS:

"I was a little embarrassed. But then again, I shouldn't be! It meant something to me. Because it's from the kids, and the kids are more important than anything else in the world. So it made me happy. Honestly, I didn't think I was going to win it. It just made my day that I did. It means a lot to me."

To the haters who think her reaction was over the top: "Embarrassing? No, I'm not embarrassed. I probably would be, but I couldn't help it. I was just really excited."
