We just got word that Lucy Hale will star in a brand-new show called Pretty Little Liars premiering on ABC Family later this year! You might remember Lucy from the CW's Privileged, but in this new one-hour drama, she'll play Aria, one of four estranged best friends. The four frenemies are reunited after they all start receiving anonymous messages that reveal secrets only they knew -- kinda like Mean Girls meets Gossip Girl!

Hey TWIST girls!

OMG! Check out this PopEater.com interview with Lucy Hale. She spills about auditioning for Twilight! "I didn't even have any idea what Twilight was then!" she reveals. Too funny!

Remember TWIST was the first to confirm she auditioned for the role of Jane, which eventually went to Dakota Fanning! Lucy also talks about her new TV movie Sorority Wars and her background of working with Disney!

OMG, TWIST girls! The New Moon casting news never stops!

TWIST just got off the phone with Privileged star Lucy Hale (and David's Henrie's GF!). Only TWIST got the scoop straight from Lucy about her auditioning for New Moon.

"Well, I did read [for the role of Jane]. We had some talks about it. But I think they just offered it to Dakota Fanning, the role I was interested in. Which is great - I'm a huge fan of her! So, I think she'll probably take that. And I mean, as of right now, I'm not sure if it's going to work out. But I'm definitely still going to see it!"

That's the spirit, Lucy! Would she be open to other roles in New Moon? We had to know!

"I'd take any role!" she spilled to us. "Leah Clearwater, but I think there's already talks with somebody else. I think they've already offered it to someone. I mean, we'll see. If not, it's all good."

Does Vanessa Hudgens ring a bell?

"Right, Right, right! Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was true or not, but she'd be great for it!"
