Hey TWIST girls,

BIG news in the Twitter-verse! Joe Jonas finally joined Twitter! His first Tweet was 22 hours ago: "Hiking it up..." and then he tweeted to Nick: "Fine, I'll stay!" He worked the name of Nick's single into his tweet, too -- how clever!

His latest tweet consists of lyrics from a U2 song: "I'm not afraid, of anything in this world. There's nothing you can throw at me that I haven't already heard. I'm just trying to find a decent melody, a song that I can sing in my own company." Guess Joe hasn't gotten the whole 140 character thing down yet. :)

Plus, he hasn't even been on Twitter for 24 hours and he already has more than 68,000 followers. Do you think he'll catch up to Nick, who has almost 335,000 followers??

Hey girlies!

Miley has parted ways with Twitter and she's not looking back! In a radio interview this morning, Miley spilled, "I really haven't missed it. I thought I was going to miss it a lot --more than I do, but I haven't even really looked at other people's, which is really weird. I don't really miss it. It's kind of odd."

So, did she give any more rhyme or reason for deleting her account? Kinda! "It was 3:30 or 4 in the morning. I couldn't sleep. [I thought], 'Maybe I could sleep if I wasn't so friggin' busy Twittering about not being able to sleep!'"

Fans, friends AND family are all hoping Miley will sign back onto to Twitter. But by looking at these two recent Web posts from the popstar, we think she's done for good.

Miley first posted the YouTube rap above explaining her decision to end her Tweets.

Then, she posted a blog on her MileyWorld Web site (click here and scroll down to read it), saying that she would like to spend her free time with friends and family versus tweeting.

Hey Twist Girls!!

Can you believe that Miley deleted her Twitter account? We here at Twist can't believe it! And it seems like her dad Billy Ray cannot believe it either and spoke up on this recent news!

He tweeted, "I understand 'it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch.' But listen to the words of your songs 'Stand... for what ya believe in'...Remember?"

"Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born"Destiny Hope Cyrus" for a reason.You can't leave everyone now.We r countin on u."

He believes that she's not thinking for herself and following the advice of others and she should come back for herself and her fans!

Hey TWIST girls!

Rumors hit the web this weekend that Miley and Demi are fueding! But TWIST is here to tell you that is 100% not true.

How did the rumor start? Well, Miley's tweet above linked to a picture of her with Demi at the Hannah Montana movie premiere. Just a few hours later, Demi tweeted this, which caused some people to think she was talking about Miley:

Once she had heard the rumor (her tweet links to this article, which is now reporting Demi's tweet was about Selena - also totally false!), Demi tweeted that Miley was not who she was talking about.

Since the two buds found the story to be so ridiculous, they started joking around on tweets back and forth that they really didn't like each other (TWIST has the rest of the tweets after the jump!). We love that they can just laugh off silly stuff like this!

Hey TWIST girls!

TWIST has the latest on summer's most recent fizzle, Demi and Trace Cyrus (Miley's older bro and Metro Station frontman).

The couple first displayed their love connection on Twitter and TWIST was the only mag to talk to Demi about their relationship!

Well, now Trace is spilling the beans on what went down this past weekend!

On why his relationship with Demi didn't work: "Demi is one of my good friends and I definitely became very, very close with her in the past few months, and it's something I really wanted to make work. But unfortunately, we both have very busy schedules - we're both on tour right now. I'm always on the other side of the world and so is she, so it just seemed like something that can't work out at this time."

On why they clicked: "We gave it a shot and that's all you can do. Every time I hung out with that girl or talked on the phone with her, it was amazing. She's someone I can totally relate to."

On the almost 4-year age difference: "She is a lot younger than me. When someone is that much younger, you're looking for different things in relationships. Maybe when she's older and we've both matured, we'll be looking for the same thing and it can work out."
