Hey TWIST girls!
While we get ready to enjoy the holiday weekend, Selena is in Africa to work for a great cause! Last year, she was the spokesperson for UNICEF's Trick-or-Treat campaign, and now she's the youngest ambassador of the organization. UNICEF is a world-wide organization that works for children's rights, survival and protection. What did Sel have to say about the her new job?
"Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes. I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment, UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the lifesaving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality," Sel says.
Selena will be in the African country Ghana as part of her first official field-mission. We'll be sure to keep you updated with her exact projects.
Tell TWIST, do you have a fave charity that you're involved in? We'd love to hear all about it!
Hugs,
Kourt
