Check out this teaser trailer to Vanessa Hudgens' upcoming flick Beastly. The movie, also starring cutie Alex Pettyfer, is an updated version of Beauty and the Beast and hits theaters on July 31, 2010.
In the scenes above, you'll see Alex, who plays 'Mr. Popular' Kyle Kingson. When he ditches his date, Kendra (played by Mary-Kate Olsen), she casts a spell that leaves him, well, 'Beastly.' His only way to break the ugly spell and transform back is to find true love.

How PUMPED are you to watch the Teen Choice Awards tonight? My fave part is definitely seeing what the stars were wearing, so I've already checked out the pics and am of course sharing them with you! So, ready to talk fashion?
Miley wore a white tank, short black mini skirt and black heels. Her sparkly and studded accessories are definitely what makes this outfit fun! It isn't anything different from what she usually wears, but she looks like she's ready to rock out and have a good time.
Regular twistmag.com readers know that sequin is IN and Jennette took this trend to the max with her all sequin short mini-dress. The TCA are all about having fun and Jennette definitely did that with her sparkly outfit.
Vanessa's navy dress is both sophisticated and fresh. She skipped the accessories, making her dress the main focus and proves it's all in the details by picking a dress with an embroidered top, a skirt with tiny pleats and rope belt.
Ashley loves studs so of course she wore studded heels and clutch to TCA to go with her silver and black dress!
Shailene revealed her new haircut at the TCA. What do you think? Her legs look miles long in her gray shorts, which she wore with a printed flower shirt and wide red belt.
Selena kept things simple, yet elegant in her white one-shouldered dress. Her t-strap shoes add a bit of sparkle!
Chelsea's fringe and gold sequin dress is so fun! By skipping a necklace, she keeps her look from going overboard.
Keke definitely looks the biggest fashion risk with her strapless jumpsuit and gold feather sleevelets. Do you love this look or hate it?
Leighton stands out in stripes which she paired with cute red heels! So cute!

Last week TWIST gave Bandslam an A-, and part of the reason the movie rocked so hard was the awesome soundtrack. Lucky for you, TWIST has five copies of the Bandslam soundtrack to give away! Hey TWIST girls!
Last night, I caught a free advance screening of Bandslam in New York City! The movie stars Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka and newcomer Gaelan Connell as three very different high school students who all love the same thing: music.
This flick's got romance, drama, comedy, killer music scenes, and more than one awkward kissing scene! Aly and V really shine when they get in front of the microphone - it's cool to see them singing material that's less pop, more rock.
My fave part of the movie, though, was watching Will (Gaelan's character) mature and become more comfortable with himself. He starts off as the shy new kid in school, but by the end, he's confident enough to stand up for himself. Plus, he's totally adorkable!
If you're looking for a fun flick with a great soundtrack that will make you laugh and make you cry, be sure to check out Bandslam in theaters August 14th.

We've got our hands on not one, but TWO new trailers for the upcoming flick Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka and newcomer Gaelan Connell!
TWIST already told you about Gaelan's first onscreen kiss - he smooches both Aly and Vanessa in the movie! Gaelan plays Will, a new kid in town who meets Vanessa's character Sa5m (the 5 is silent!). Both are shocked when popular girl Charlotte, played by Aly, asks for Will's help forming a rock group to compete against her ex bf's band at the annual band slam. The winner scores a record deal!
Check out both trailers for snippets of new songs from Aly and V, a hilarious LOL moment between Will and Sa5m and more plot details. Plus, when Bandslam hits theatres, it will include brand new footage of New Moon!

We spent one-on-one time with the stars of Bandslam last week! Aly, Vanessa and new-comer Gaelan gave us the scoop about the upcoming rockin' flick. It hits theaters late this summer!
In the vid above, Aly spills on her fave moments hanging with her costars. Sounds like they all had a blast going out to eat, shopping and watching movies! So fun!
Gaelan spills to us how his real-life first kiss is just like his character's first smooch!
"The sad thing is that, well, Aly kisses me and is showing me how to kiss Vanessa -- basically. That's how I had my first kiss. Super embarrassing. I was in sixth or seventh grade. There was this girl trying to set me up with her friend and I was like, 'I don't even know what to do!'"
