I hope all you guys and gals had a great weekend! I know a Wizards of Waverly Place duo that definitely seemed to enjoy each other's company last Friday night.

Selena Gomez and David Henrie stopped by Philippe Chow in Hollywood to grab dinner, and Sel, wearing a trendy plaid blazer and black boots, hid her face with her clutch before giving photographers a shy smile.

Hmmm... Are Selena and David just friends going out for food? Or does this outing sound more like a date? Do you think they would make a cute couple?

Hey Gals!

Sad News! First it was Hannah Montana, but now Disney has announced that another show will be airing its final season. Wizards of Waverly Place will shoot one more season before saying goodbye.

Selena Gomez, who plays Alex on the show, is pretty upset to see the show end. She tells MTV that, "Unfortunately, I'm doing my last season of my show, which I'm really heartbroken about. That's gonna be a terrible time for me. I'm gonna do a movie for my show, which I'll be excited to end it with, and then a tour." We are just as sad as Selena to see the show end, but we are super excited for Wizards movie!

Hey TWIST readers!

We have great news! The 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations were announced early this morning and some of our favorite shows scored nominations! Our newest fave comedy musical Glee received 19 nominations! Whoa! Rachel Berry would be stoked. Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch were among those who got nominations. Congrats to them!

Then, for Outstanding Children's Program, it's going to be a competition between Hannah Montana, iCarly, Wizards of Waverly Place, Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, and JONAS, all of which were nominated in this category!

The stars of JONAS are def excited- they've been tweeting about it all morning! Nicole sent out "OMG Jonas is nominated for an Emmy! I can't believe it". Chelsea tweeted "Woke up to some amazing messages: JONAS was just nominated for an EMMY! (Spazzy, happy bed dance in progress.)". Joe was also on twitter, saying "Goodmornin! Jonas is up for an Emmy?! Highfive!".

Hey TWIST gals!

We fell in love with Jennifer Stone as the quirky Harper on Wizards of Waverly Place. (Jennifer and Selena do a great job playing BFFs!) Now we're thrilled to watch her step into leading lady shoes in the new Disney Channel original movie Harriet The Spy: Blog Wars.

In tonight's premiere, Jennifer stars as Harriet Welsch, an aspiring writer who is in tough competition with her nemesis, Marion, for the role as class blogger. We're sure Jennifer will do an amazing job in her first lead role and can't wait to see what she's working on next!

Congrats to Wizards of Waverly Place! It is now an Emmy award-winning TV show!

The cast and crew won the award for Outstanding Children's Program! The show beat out Hannah Montana and iCarly at this weekend's 2009 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The Wizard stars all tweeted about the award, too!

David Henrie: "Wow. Just wow. Last night was a night I'll never 4get. Emmy, then hanging out with budz. Nothing better"

Jennifer Stone: "Holy crap! Wizards is now officially an Emmy award winning show!!!!"

Selena Gomez: "WE WON AN EMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND thank you to you guys for giving me my job!!!!!! This is all because of you! I love you!!! AND one more sorry, for the writers and crew that work on our show who couldn't be here with us I can't wait to celebrate with you at work!!"

What's up, TWIST gals?

New scoop on Selena Gomez and the Scene keeps trickling in, and TWIST is here to fill you in on every detail!

Over the weekend, Sel and her band filmed the music video for her first single "Falling Down"! She totally rocks out in the vid, swinging her hair and showing off her awesome dance moves.

Hey TWIST gal!

With the Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie premiere just more than three weeks away (it airs August 28th on Disney!), the cast has started to predict what might be in store for the Russo family. As viewers know, the three Russo kids will eventually have to compete in a magical competition, and only the winner will be able to keep wizard powers. David Henrie, Jennifer Stone and Selena Gomez all think that big brother Justin def deserves the title.

"He's the most responsible," David dishes. "He takes his studying seriously and he'll make the right decision at an important time."

Jen totally agrees. She spills, "I really like someone who works hard and is really disciplined, so I think Justin should win. It'd be hilarious if Max ended up with the powers because he's the one that everybody least expects." That would be pretty funny!

Sel also thinks Justin should become an adult wizard, but shares, "It would be interesting to see Max win because there's something hidden in him underneath. He's really paying attention." You might think that Sel would want her character to win, but she thinks Alex has other plans. "She is so independent. She loves magic, but it's not her number one priority, whereas Justin lives and breathes it, and Max is there and does the work. Alex can find other things to do with her life and her friends and family."

And how does little bro Max aka Jake T. Austin feel about all of this? "I would love it if, in the last episode, our long lost brother or sister that we never knew about came in and won the power... and then did a spin-off," Jake said. Hmm, if that means more Wizards, then we think it's a great idea!

Jake did say that there'll be a "mini wizards competition" in Wizards: The Movie, but "it's not the final one and it's just a temporary result."

Hey girls!

Harry Potter isn't the only wizard with a movie coming out soon! TWIST already showed you the trailer and brought you behind the scenes of Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. Now, we've got the full premiere deets!

Starting Monday, August 24, the show's main stars - Selena Gomez, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone and David Henrie - will each get a night to introduce you to their favorite "Wand Picked" episodes. Tell TWIST - What's your fave Wizards episode?

Then, Friday, August 28 is Wizards day! This all-day marathon will feature the 16 "Wand Picked" episodes once more, followed by the Wizards: The Movie premiere at 8 pm!

Don't worry if you miss it, because Disney's airing a special version on Saturday night featuring behind-the-scenes footage about the film's special effects. On Sunday evening, the movie will air once more in an evening hosted by the Wizards cast! Sel and friends will even share sneak peeks at upcoming Wizards episodes.

What's up, TWIST girls?

We're super excited for the release of New Moon in November, but still seriously itching for some vampire drama in our lives. Luckily, we don't have to wait much longer, because Disney's premiering a four-part Wizards of Waverly Place special called "Wizards vs. Vampires!"

The first episode, airing July 24 at 8 pm, brings a new vampire-owned sandwich shop to Waverly Place called "The Late Night Bite." When the restaurant starts taking business away from the Waverly Sub Station, Justin goes to spy on the vampires and ends up falling for the shop owner's daughter Juliet! Yikes!

After that, stay tuned for three more weeks as the "Wizards vs. Vampires" excitement continues! Juliet convinces the Russos to eat healthier and work out, but Alex suspects that Juliet really just wants to taste Justin's blood! In the following episode, Alex uses magic to keep up her relationship with Dean, but as usual, things don't exactly turn out as she planned. During the finale, Justin takes Juliet to prom, and Alex has a dance-off with zombies. We can't WAIT to see how that turns out!

Hey TWIST girls,
I can't wait to fill you in on my super-exciting trip to Puerto Rico -- I visited the set of the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place DCOM! I got to hang with Selena, David and Jake and they were all super-friendly and hilarious! I don't want to give too much away (you'll have to check out upcoming issues of TWIST for my full report!), but here are a few juicy highlights from my day with the Wizards!

-- The entire cast is obsessed with Twitter -- Selena even asked David to borrow his phone so that she could update her page between scenes!
-- Sel dished to me that she's totally into hats right now. She was wearing the cutest straw fedora during our interview on set.
-- Jake and David have their pranking feud on hold for awhile...they're both waiting for the perfect time to strike again!
-- I stayed at the same hotel as the cast, and there's a sweet ice cream shop on the main floor!
-- Selena dished that she's been shopping like crazy in PR! She even bought a bracelet for her bud Jonathan!
-- David had a super-early call time when I was on set -- he had to be there by 5:30 a.m.! I got to ride with him back to the hotel at the end of the day, and I told him he was a champ for waking up that early!

Selena just confirmed it to our sources at a recent Wizards of Waverly Place taping. The Disney stars are even in talks to perform their sure-to-be-a-hit soon! Check out the vid above to get the deets straight from Selena!

Sources revealed Selena dished about working on her album (she says it's going really well!) and even mentioned a possible tour with Demi this summer! Awesome! But if the tour doesn't happen, they definitely want to perform their song together at some point. We can't wait!
