Breaking Al news! Paula officially announced that she will NOT be returning as a judge next season! She posted on her Twitter page, "With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to Idol. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon." Shocking! Simon, Randy and Kara will be back when a new season starts in January, but will you still watch?

Hey M Girls!

We're so stoked -- Kris Allen just signed his record deal yesterday with Jive Records and his CD will hit THIS FALL! So, what can fans expect? "It will be very similar to what you heard from me on the show -- definitely in the pop/rock genre," Kris spills. "I can't wait to get started!"

And today, Adam signed a record deal with RCA Records and his debut album is also scheduled for a fall release! "I look forward to developing a really exciting album," Lambert says. "We are all anxiously awaiting the start of the recordings. It's going to be ridiculous! Get ready!"

Woohoo! Can't wait!

Hey M Girls!

My name is Jasmine and I just had the best experience of my life! I won one of M's contests and got to see the American Idol finale!! Sure, I could just watch it at home, but who would want to do that when you can actually be at the show?! I had a blast! I had never been on the other side of the country since I'm from North Carolina, so it was fun to see all the different states as we flew over them. Being in LA was really hot and fun. I saw Hollywood, had the best cheeseburger EVER and I saw a Kardashian!

When it came time for the finale, I was rooting for Adam and I was kind of disappointed when he lost. My mom, on the other hand, was going for Kris and was very happy when he won. The contestants sound totally different in person, but they sound better! I saw a lot of previous Idols and older musicians perform. I have never been to a concert, so I counted that as one. This was definitely an unforgettable experience and I would totally do it again. I never win anything and for me to win something like this was like a dream come true. Thanks, M!

Did you watch the season finale of American Idol last night? It was such an amazing show! We loved seeing the final contestants performing on stage with huge stars like The Black Eyed Peas and Jason Mraz! We were on the edge of our seats waiting for the winner to be announced, and couldn't believe how shocked Kris looked when they called his name. (Psst: Jordin Sparks made that prediction to us weeks ago!)

For those of you who were glued to FOX in the aftermath of American Idol, you may have noticed the debut of the new series, Glee. While the show will not officially begin until the fall (with a brand new pilot), it was previewed directly after last night's Idol.

The show is about a group of misfits who join the school choir (Psst! Did you catch Justin Gaston, Miley's BF, in last night's episode?!) and we think music-lovers and HSM-fans will be total fans!

We're super-obsessed with American Idol around here, and we can't wait for tonight's show. This afternoon we caught up with Allison (love her!) and found out behind-the-scenes AI deets. Didja know Allison has been writing in a journal about her entire experience? When we asked if she showed it to anyone in her fam, Allison told us, "No, no one has read it." Did you girls catch Idol last night?! Wowza -- it was a jam-packed show, ending with the judges saving Matt Giraud from going home! It was the first and only time the judges could use that power and save someone -- so cool!

Hey M girls!

So I recently talked to Jordin Sparks and she is the sweetest girl ever -- and luckiest! Jordin will be touring this summer with Kevin, Joe, and Nick (seriously, could her summer get any hotter?)!

So while Jordin and I chatted away, of course I had to ask her about this season's American Idol! "I watch it every week, and if I don't, my grandparents TiVo it for me!" So who's her fave? "It's really hard for me to vote for just one person!" Jordin confessed to M. "I've been voting for about seven people every time!"

We think Kris Allen is so cute, and Jordin is a fan too! "Kris is starting to develop more, come into his own, and show people that there are different facets of him. I think he could be a dark house."

Jordin also hopes Allison makes it into the top and says, "She's got an amazing voice!"

So, who does Jordin think will be named the next American Idol? "I don't know! Adam's super-popular right now -- he's got a great voice and he's always really good. But sometimes things change and other people shoot up to the top!"

I don't know about you, but I'm TOTALLY loving American Idol this season!! I've been a fan since the Kelly Clarkson year, and I'm dying to know who you're rooting for! (Psst! My top 3 are Adam, Scott, and Allison!). Who do you want to win??

Plus, did you hear about the new rule on American Idol last night? Now the judges have the chance to save one contestant from elimination, even if they got the lowest amount of votes! Each judge can only do it once the entire season until the top 5 singers are left. However, if someone is saved, TWO contestants get the boot the following week! Yikes!
