haylie: michael williams.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Haylie Duff talking sisterly love!!

M Reader Nathy asked:
I don't get along that well with my stepmother, but I clicked with my stepsister from the start. I always want to be behind her but I'm just nervous that my relationship with my stepmother will effect our relationship. What do I do?

And Haylie's answer is:
"I always have my sister's back and I think that's really important. We have the best time together and no one will be able to take that away from us. I'm really protective of Hil and I'm always there to give her the advice she needs. It's hard to see someone going through something without stepping in and trying to make it easier for them -- just knowing that you care. And I think that's the cool thing with sisters. You can fight here and there, but at the end of the day, you know you're there for one another no matter what. So, always remember that nothing is worth sacrificing the love you have for your sister. It's indescribable!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Ashley Tisdale talking being the new kid with tons of girl drama!

M Reader zztr4ever asked:
I've transferred to a new school recently -- in China! It's really hard to fit in here and some of the girls aren't as nice than my friends back at home. What do I do?

And Ashley's answer is:
"I moved to California in the 8th grade and it was really hard for me to fit in. All the kids already knew each other and no one bothered to make me feel welcome. Although it was hard at first, I eventually found my really good group of friends. It did take some time, but it was definitely worth it. Just hang in there -- everything will work out just fine!"

emily:bobDamico:disney.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Emily Osment talking strict parents drama!

M Reader Rosie_04 asked:
My crush asked me out the other day. I was really happy about it until I realized that I couldn't say "yes" because my parents are really strict and don't allow me to date. I told my crush that I would think about it, but the truth is I'll lose either way -- if I say "yes" I'll be doing something I'm not allowed to and if I say "no" I'll be turning down someone I really like and I'll hurt his feelings. What do I do?

And Emily's answer is:
"One thing that people don't realize about me is that just because I'm an actress doesn't mean I get to do whatever I want -- I actually have really strict parents! And of course it gets to me when there's something I'm hoping they'll let me do and the answer I get is a big, fat "no." But in the end, it's for my own good. Parents wouldn't say "no" for no reason. They're just trying to protect you. And when you're really ready for it, they'll be OK with it. You just have to be patient for that day to come. Until then, confront your crush and tell him the truth. I'm sure he'll understand!"

chelsea:disney.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Chelsea Hobbs giving the deets on first kisses!

M Reader ms.taylorlautner_14 asked:
I'm 15 years old and I've never had my first kiss. I've dated a couple boys but none of them have kissed me yet. When is it going to happen?

And Chelsea's answer is:
"A first kiss will happen when you least expect it. Mine was so awkward. This guy in school and I both had a crush on each other and one day he asked me if I wanted him to walk me home. I said "okay" and we passed down an alley where one of his friends were. All of a sudden his friend said, "I dare you guys to kiss." My crush and I turned bright red and scrunched our faces and kissed really quickly. I was so embarrassed that I ran away as fast as I could! The point is, first kisses are never planned. They just happen when they're supposed to. So be patient and you'll have a great first kiss story to tell of your own pretty soon!"

carrie:kyle rover.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Carrie Underwood giving the deets on how she dealt with school drama!!

M Reader LivingTheLife45 asked:
My best friend has been acting really mean lately to me and our other friends. It seems like he's yelling at us all the time and making us feel bad about ourselves -- and it really bothers me! Is she really my true friend? What do I do?

And Carrie's answer is:
"I wish I had known when I was younger that there will constantly be people who put you down -- it's just a matter of how much you'll let it get to you. I remember being so upset about little things when I was in school. If I was faced with those same issues today, I wouldn't think twice about not letting it get to me! Things like boy issues and friendship drama will get the best of you when you're a teen. But you have to remember not to let it bother you as much because one day you'll look back and realize that it wasn't worth the stress. That's what happened to me. There was a group of kids who didn't like me when I was in school and they would be mean and start rumors about me and put me down -- some were even my friends! But at the end of the day, it turns out they were just trying to make themselves feel better by being mean to others. So just remember that it's not worth you being upset -- and if you don't believe me now, you will someday soon!"

M Reader 6g12345 asked:
I'm having a problem talking to the guy I like. Every time I plan on going up to him, I chicken out! And then I get really disappointed in myself. Any advice?

And Sean's answer is:
"I think it's good for a girl to ask a guy out. The best way to do it is to put behind your nervousness and just go straight for it. Be very honest! Just ask, 'Want to go out sometime?' Even if you don't get the answer you want to hear, you'll be proud that you got up the courage to take a chance. So go for it!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have JONAS star Nicole Anderson dishing on getting your heart broken!!

M Reader justinbieber94 asked:
I've liked this boy for 2 1/2 years but he's dating a girl that isn't very nice. Every time they break up this boy and I get close. But then when they get back together he starts lying to me about silly things and just isn't as nice. I'm totally heartbroken and don't know what to do. Any advice?

And Nicole's answer is:
"I've definitely had my heart broken. I think every teenage girl has in school. A guy that I really, really liked in high school never really noticed me. Luckily, I wasn't changing anything about myself to make him like me more because I already learned from that mistake before. In the end, I realized that we were much better off as friends -- but that realization came with time! It was hard but a click flick and a carton of ice cream never hurts. It works every time!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Miley Cyrus giving the deets on girls asking guys out!!

M Reader fashioncutie4ever asked:
I like this guy in school but he's two years younger than me and I'm not sure that he wants an older girlfriend -- if he wants a girlfriend at all! I'm too nervous to say anything to him, although I just want to know what he's thinking already! What do I do?

And Miley's answer is:
"It really is nerve wrecking for a girl to like a guy because you're kind of nervous thinking to yourself, 'What if he says no straight to my face?' And then no matter what the outcome, you have to see him everyday in school! But what you have to do is wait and see if he'll say anything to you first. Just go for it and walk right up to him and be straight-forward. Guys really like someone who's bright and has no problem saying what they're feeling. So give it a shot!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Brenda Song talking dealing with rumors that travel the hallways!!

M Reader twilightaddict24 asked:
I like this guy in school but there are all these rumors going around about it -- and they're not so nice! How do I deal with it?

And Brenda's answer is:
"I know it might now sound like tons of help, but it really is important that you stay true to yourself. You know the rumors aren't true, so stand by what you already know -- and you know the truth the best out of anyone! Surround yourself with people who care about you and confront those who are talking about you behind your back. If you let it go, then they think it's OK to tease you. If you say something in a nice way, then they might hear you out. Rumors were spread about me in school but I learned to not let it bother me and you know what? They eventually stopped! So, hang in there!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have David Henrie giving the 411 on how to ask a guy out!!

M Reader meganmonkeyvarnes asked:
I want to ask this guy out but I'm not sure how to do it. Any tips?

And David's answer is:
"First of all, I love it when a girl looks my in the eye when she talks to me because eyes tell everything; how genuine she is, what she's thinking, how sweet she is. So when you ask him, look him in the eyes. Then just suggest going to a movie together sometime. Those are my favorite dates; dinner and a movie. Or you could say, 'Hey, let's grab a slice of pizza after school.' Just be sure to ask as if it's not a big deal. I'm sure he'll be up for it. And if he's not, it's that he's a little embarrassed because he's not ready to take that step. But hang in there! Time is key in situations like this!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Brittany Snow dishing major prom mishaps!!

M Reader greeny1123 asked:
I missed my prom and I'm really upset about it because I wanted to ask my crush to be my date. Turns out, he went with someone else and apparently kissed her at the dance! I'm so upset. My prom is ruined! What do I do now?

And Brittany's answer is:
"What people don't realize sometimes is that prom isn't just about having a date and getting up the courage to ask that one guy to go. It's about just having fun and not letting little things get you down. Tons of things can go wrong at a dance like that. Your dress could rip, your crush could turn down your offer to be your date, a random guy could decide to pick on you, your BFF could ignore you all of a sudden. They're all going to seem like the worst thing that could've happened. But in the end, you learn that more important great things will happen to you in your life and prom won't change them one bit. Don't worry, better celebrations are yet to come -- so don't get yourself down about this one thing!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Ashanti talking staying positive!!

M Reader braceface asked:
My friend has been really rude to me lately -- she calls me a brat and puts me down all the time. It's getting hard to stay friends with her because she's making me feel so negative. What's your advice?

And Ashanti's answer is:
"I've always tried to stay positive in my life and steer away from the negative things. Surrounding yourself with positive people will help you in the end while sticking around negative people won't get you far along the way. I always try to see the glass as half full because once you think it's half empty, great things rarely follow. Just stay positive and don't let people taking their unhappiness out of you affect you! You're great the way you are and there's nothing wrong with you!"

demi:disney.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Demi Lovato talking school dance drama-rama!!

M Reader braceface asked:
I'm going to a middle school dance on Friday and I've never had a first kiss before. I really want the boy that I'm going with to kiss me but I don't know if he'll do it. I'm not sure what to expect at the dance. What if it's awkward? What if we don't dance? Any advice?

And Demi's answer is:
"I've spent most of my school years being home schooled but I did go to a 6th grade dance when I was still in public school. It was so awkward! I was standing against the wall the whole time -- no date, no guy. It was my first dance and all the boys were on one side and all the girls were on the other. The only people dancing with each other were the couples who were dating! But I was up against the wall until my girlfriends came up to me and were like, 'Let's just dance and act crazy!' So we did and made fools of ourselves -- in a really fun way! So it doesn't matter if you don't dance with a boy like I didn't, or if you don't get your crush to kiss you. There will be plenty of time for that. The best thing you can do is take the night as it comes -- and just have the best time EVER!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Nick Cannon giving the 411 on what's most important in school!!

M Reader trasco asked:
School is getting really hard to keep up with. How do I pick up my grades?

And Nick's answer is:
"I used to struggle in school. I concentrated more on my friends and becoming Homecoming King. And I now regret not putting more time into my studies because that's the thing that mattered later on in life. The one thing I would change now if I could go back was my concentration. You can do anything if you put your mind and hard work into it -- and I know that now. So, I would take school a lot more seriously if I could. If you're finding it hard to keep up after constant studying, it's a good thing to ask teachers for extra help!"

aj: jen lowery.jpgHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have AJ Michalka talking dropping your insecurities!!

M Reader chee0927 asked:
I'm embarrassed to wear these black shoes that I really like because the other kids in school make fun of me for wearing them. I feel so lonely because I don't have many friends. Aside from that, I feel really ugly because my schoolmates tell me that I am, even though my parents say I'm pretty. What do I do about feeling so insecure?

And AJ's answer is:
"I think you'll grow out of feeling insecure. There's always a time when you worry about not liking the way you look or things like that -- everyone goes through that! People want to be like each other and get made fun of if they're not, but what they don't realize right now is it's the things that make you different that are special. They make you unique. And if people don't realize that now, they will someday. But the most important thing is to not let that get to you. There are things about myself that aren't perfect, but in the end, I embrace them instead of letting them get to me. Just say to yourself, 'That's me. And that's what makes me different.'"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Emma Roberts talking the things you can do to avoid mean girl drama!!

M Reader Miley_23 asked:
There's a mean girl in my school who thinks I'm friends with her -- but she's just so mean to me! She'll kick my chair, block me from seeing the board, and hide my glasses! I told my mom but she says I'm just being paranoid, but I'm not! What do I do?

And Emma's answer is:
"Sometimes it's hard to make people stop the things they do. Lots of times, it just doesn't work. First of all, you need to tell a teacher or your principle. Second of all, even though you can't change how people act, you can change your attitude towards them. Just be like 'I'll hang out with you when you start being a little nicer. The things you do hurt my feelings.' If she really does think of you as a friend, she'll listen. If not, then she's not looking out for your best interests! But don't let it bother you! You just need to find it in yourself to tell someone else about it and to stand up for yourself!

daniellepan1224.gifHey M Girls!

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have Danielle Panabaker talks major school drama!!

M Reader RandomWordsAnonymous asked:
I can't stand drama! But I feel like everywhere I go, the issues just follow me! There's constantly some problem happening and it makes me wonder if it will ever stop! Will it?

And Danielle's answer is:
"There was always so much drama when I was in school. I went to a pretty big high school which meant more kids, and more drams! I was faced with peer pressure a lot and ended up caring a lot about how I looked -- I spent way too much time getting ready in the mornings and at one point I was actually keeping a list of what outfits I wore for the week -- so I didn't repeat anything! It was tough to hold up to the "perfect" image. And the whole time doing it, I just wasn't truly happy. The most important thing is to try and be happy for yourself -- for the person you really are, not the person you want everyone to think you are. And after you do that, the drama seems to melt away because you're growing up and entering a different stage in your life. It'll make you realize what drama is worth it and which situations are not worth the headache!

M Reader daddyzangel asked:
I am home-schooled and don't have that many friends. I'm not involved in any team sports, clubs, or groups. Any advice on how to find more friends?

And David's answer is:
"I was a sports fanatic growing up and music was just kind of a hobby for me. I played lots of baseball, football, and basketball. I did choir and theater and stuff like that in high school, too. I think it's important to get involved in things that you like to do. Sports are a good way to connect with people in school. You really get to bond -- all group activities help. I'm a bit plump and everyone at school keeps comparing me with thin girls -- they tell me I'm fat! It makes me upset and I don't know what the best way to deal with it is. Were you ever insecure about that? How did you deal?

And Push Play's answer is:
"I was overweight growing up. I never got over it. Instead, I just kind of grew into my tall height and lost all the baby fat. So it won't last forever. It's just a matter of surviving it from now until then. But don't worry -- that day will come soon! There's no reason to feel bad about yourself. Lots of people go through it!"

We have a BRAND NEW celeb advice column on mmm-mag.com. Each day at 8:00 PM/EST we'll post a reader question and have a different star answer it!! Today, we have JONAS's Nicole Anderson talking how to deal with mean girls the right way!!

M Reader oregonisawesome1007 asked:
I feel like my friend has two different personalities. Whenever we're alone she acts super-nice, but when we're with other people she acts fake, gossipy, and rude! She's really mean to me when we're in a large crowd. What should I do??

And Nicole's answer is:
"Girls can be pretty mean. When I went to school, I was a pretty easy target for them to pick on. They would be my friends one minute and then the next they were calling me the Teacher's Pet in front of everyone in class! What I did was I stuck to my true friends -- the people stand by you in every situation! I didn't let all the other girls bother me that much. And you know what, it actually made me stronger in the long run. Another important thing to do is to tell someone how you feel -- don't keep it inside. A lot of times, I came home and talked to my mom about it. And it really helped!"
