"Guys are known for sending some kinds of signals -- it's just hard to figure out which ones! Some guys think teasing girls shows they like them, and others are genuinely extra nice to their crushes. Look for something he does around you that you notice he doesn't do around other girls. Or ask a friend of yours to find out (without being too obvious!). Although, you could always be honest and tell him yourself. But if you're too nervous about it, then just wait it out for a little. Over time, you should know if he likes you or not. But most importantly, no matter what happens remain his friend! You two could be BFFs in the end!"

"Sometimes you have to figure out a different way to approach certain people with situations like this. Maybe the way you try to talk to her makes her frustrated and blow up. You should probably sit her down and start with telling her how much you value your friendship and how you don't like arguing with her. Maybe then you could figure out the best ways to patch up your relationship. If you guys are truly friends, you'll find a way to work it out -- I know you will!"

"You need to be totally honest with your friend. Tell her that you have the same feelings she does for the same guy, but that you don't want it to affect your friendship -- which is why you're telling her this in the first place! She may be disappointed that her BFF is now her competition, but she shouldn't be mad at you (nor should you be competing for a guy!). At the end of the day, you two should talk it out and compromise a conclusion. If your friendship is truly BFF status, you won't let one guy break you guys up!"

"I totally understand where you're coming from -- I used the have the exact same problem. I used to feel nervous about what I would say. And when I did talk within the group, I felt like no one was listening to me. But as I grew older, I learned to work through my insecurities and I started to feel more comfortable in my own skin. And that's when I started becoming more and more outgoing. So that's the key. You need to build your self-confidence level and feel more secure about yourself. After that, nothing else will seem like a huge deal -- and you'll totally feel comfortable enough to say exactly what you think in front of your friends. Just know that they love you for who you are, so don't be afraid to be yourself!"

Have them come over for a fun sleepover or a cool movie night. That could totally give you guys some bonding time -- which could be JUST the thing you need. If that doesn't work, talk it out with your pals and get to the bottom of the issue!"

Hey M Girls!
We had five fun visitors at our office today - the band members of Mayday Parade!! The guys took time out of their busy "Take Action Tour 2010" schedule, and hung out with M!
While sitting down with M intern Kelsey, the boys talked about not only the exciting start of the tour, but also chatted about relationships! With Valentine's Day coming up, the band understands that it's sometimes hard to be without a boyfriend or girlfriend. Guitarist Alex explained, "In terms of relationships and love, if it happens, it probably happened for a reason, and it's probably for what's best. If you and your boyfriend break up, you know, it's probably meant to happen and there's no use stressing over it too much, because it did for a reason." AW! That's so true, and such a sweet way to look at it!
The band was totally great and so funny - The guys expressed their advice on what NOT to do on a first date in an exclusive M video! Check it out below!

We were so excited to see Nick Jonas and the Administration perform "Who I Am" on The Ellen Show yesterday! After the song, Ellen asked him about his rumored GF, Selena Gomez. Nick totally smirked, sort of blushed and said shrugging his shoulders, "I just stick to my music. I'll play another song maybe..." (I wonder what song he's talking about!) Super-cute!
He also signed 5 copies of his new album to auction off for Haiti relief! How sweet!

"It can be totally scary to sing in front of someone -- believe me, I know where you're coming from! But what I've learned along the way is that the best way to get over something like that is to just go for it! Yes, it's easier said than done, but if you just try it once, you'll see that it isn't so bad after all. You may actually love the way it feels to sing in front of people in the end. Just never give up on your dream! If this is what you really want to do, then go for it and don't hold back. Get yourself out there as much as you can. And to do that, you need to get over your shyness. I know you can do it -- there isn't a doubt in my mind!"

But the most important thing is to be patient and it will soon happen when it's mean to be. Don't get down on yourself. You're still suuuper-young! There will be plenty of time for you to find someone special who will love you for the awesome girl you are!"

"Your friends may have become girlfriends to the guys they're dating but they will always remain your friends, no matter what. They have just entered a different stage in their lives but don't feel that there isn't any room left for you -- there is! Even if they have boyfriends, they'll always want their friends to be around them. After all, who would they talk to about their boy problems or personal issues at home or mean girls or stressful homework? There's tons of things a girl can tell their friends that they can't tell their BFs. So just be happy for them and let them know that you'll always be there for them in a time of need -- and they'll say the same to you! You never know, your friendship could become stronger in the end!"

"You should never be ashamed of who you are! Sometimes kids tease because they're jealous of how well others are doing at the moment. So don't let them make you feel down about doing well in school -- I'm sure they wish they had your grades and wouldn't hide them! Be proud of who you are because you deserve it and you work hard for it! Sooner or later the other kids will grow up and learn that what they're doing isn't very nice. In the meantime, try to ignore their teasing. And if it get really bad, tell a parent or teacher about it! Keep getting those awesome grades -- the hard work will pay off in no time!"

"You may be feeling that way because you admire her a lot and want her to respect and like you! That's all normal. But when you think about it, there's really no reason for you to feel nervous when you hang out with her. Do you know why? Well, because if she didn't like you, she wouldn't hang out with you to begin with! So, she obviously does admire you and like you back. She may actually feel nervous around you too (even if she doesn't show it). So, next time you hang out with her, remember that she's hanging out with you because she likes you as a person and because you're super-fun to be around! So, just be yourself and you'll be BFFs in no time!
